Gunner Kiel: Notre Dame appears to have the momentum with the nation’s top-ranked pro-style passer out of Columbus (Ind.) East. Kiel visited the South Bend campus this past Saturday for the USC game, where he saw that he could really fit in with the type of kids Notre Dame currently has, and is bringing in to play on its football team. Many of the nation’s top programs continue to pursue the strong-armed Kiel, including the likes of Alabama, Michigan and LSU. Tigers quarterbacks coach Steve Kragthorpe will be at Kiel's game on Friday. Since Kiel decided to "reevaluate" his commitment to Indiana last week, several other schools have tried to get in contact. Kiel recently told 247Sports he may take all five of his official visits before deciding. Don't be surprised to see him pop up at various games across the country with Alabama-LSU being one of the possibilities. The future U.S. Army All-American plans on enrolling early to whichever school he chooses.
