Us? What about the ****ing kid?

Beau, I'm sorry brother. You're a good dude. But to me, this is bigger than recruiting. You don't do a kid like this, especially one who has been as stand-up through the whole process as you could ever ask for. The school owes HIM this. Nevermind us.

(But also, it would be nice for us if they would un-screw this up.)

No, I agree with you. I just consider ND football an extended family. By us, I meant us as a family. :p It's not all about football. I love Notre Dame because of that.

Tee shouldn't be screwed over like this. (That better? lol)

Yea, sorry about that. I have a tendency to talk about Notre Dame like I'm actually a part of the University. I just wish I was.

This is enough to make me sick to my stomach.

Every year I swear to myself I won't let recruiting impact me...like last year especially with the Lynch/Tuitt commit/decommit/recommit that probably took 1.45 years off my life...

But here I am again, needing to down a bottle of Pepto Bismol after logging on to the site to check for any good recruiting news...I wish I didn't give a crap, but I do...

Is there a link to a free article thoroughly explaining the situation?

I think that'll be my tipping point if we lose Tee. I love this recruiting stuff but I think I'd lose it if we lost Tee

I think we're all jumping the gun a bit. It just says he's not able to enroll early right now but the school is looking for a solution.

I have to think its just a minor hiccup that will be fixed. Nothing to go crazy about at this point.

If what we are hearing is true my respect for the institution that is ND will be significantly negatively impacted by this event... if this isn't taken cared of. To me, ND has always been about winning the right way... doing the right thing. This has to be corrected ASAP !!!

Oh well...I give up. NO MAS. NO MAS. My heart (literally) can't take all this crap.

I wish Tee all the best and his cousin. Someone in the ND admissions office royally screwed up and every other school in the country that negative recruits against us..now really have something to use against us if this is true.

I hope someone fixes this real quick and allows him in, even if he is missing a course. This is one case where an exception must be made. ND f ed up-so FIX IT!

I was just about to go to bed.. I swear this happens like 3 nights a week. I check the damn site one last time and end up wide awake in bed with anxiety.

Losing Tee and Deontay would be sickening.

I have to believe coach and company are doing everything they can at this very moment to figure out a solution... and I mean literally at this very moment.. and through the night, into the morning. What an epic fail by the whole university right now.. This kid altered his life for this school and he's not even there yet.. FIX IT.

Tee is fuming right now, but whatever the outcome, his emotions will settle down and hopefully he does not make any rash decisions.

I will write each of them. What are the chances your father will drop them a line, too? And on the off chance your girl's great grandfather is still kicking, sign him up, too.

Unless this is the biggest misunderstanding in recruiting history, I am 100X more disappointed in Notre Dame about this than I was at my lowest point Saturday night.

Sadly, no. Funny thing we're supposed to bring his old drawings down to the architecture people on our next trip to ND. Should I try to use that as leverage??? *eye roll*

If I will be sending an email and encouraging every ND alum, fan, and current student I know to do the same. Even if it does nothing, I will feel better knowing I did what I could to right a true injustice. And I'll also feel better knowing no member of my family will ever be sending another check their way... ticket lottery be damned. I have no interest in watching us lose with inferior players.

At first I thought that the USF loss was unbearable. Then, I experienced the scUM loss and realized that the USF loss was not that bad in comparison. Then, ND looked lost against fUSC after having two weeks to prepare, while all of those recruits were in attendance. That really, really sucked. Now, this? He was one of our most dedicated recruits. If Tee and his cousin flip, this class loses a great deal of value. This is ultimately lame. This year is ultimately lame. I feel like ND is committed to effing with me. Each week I hit a new fan rock bottom. I am developing ND-PTSD. I need ND grief counseling or an ND support group.

Between Brian Kelly, Father Jenkins, and Jack Swarbrick, there is no way they would let this slide, especially if it's a mistake made by the school and over 3 math credits? I would be absolutely shocked if this doesn't get rectified quickly.

LMAO. Exactly how I felt as I was going back through the pages trying to find the start of all this.
