I would first like to say "Thanks for the Hospitality"! It meant a great deal to my family. I have been on several college visits with my son and none could compare to ND. What's the difference? Most can tell that I think the world of my son and some may also feel like I am over the top when I am talking about him......but if a parent can't tell his child that they will be able to find the cure to cancer or walk on the moon than why even attempt to raise them. Ok.....I was about to get into one of my tangents. The difference I felt at ND was that the treated Chris in the same manner that I do....pretty simple huh? Wrong!!! When traveling to other schools regardless if it's an official or other kids are normally treated like their actually rating. 5 stars are not treated like 2 stars and etc.... This was not the case at ND!!! Every kid was treated the same. Just an FYI.....don't change that part about your school. The coaches are incredible and are not car salesman. That's the part I love. The school is able to sell itself. The article that was posted today about our visit was accurate but I regret saying too much. I meant it all but never acknowledged the contributions of other key members in his life.....for example his mom! Many have made sacrifices for Chris but by reading my articles you would never know. I hope that parents will use my experience when that day comes where they are actively engaged in their childs recruiting. Not moreso on what to do but what not to do. I appreciated all the positive comments and also the negative ones because both helped me stay focus on the larger goals of the whole ordeal. I never intended to offend any players, coaches, or fans in the article by referencing the Heisman trophy nor act as if Chris is some type of savior for ND. The would be a great team without him but I do feel he could one day be apart of the class that brings the National Title back to ND. You all are passionate fans and I hope to one day meet at least one of you at a game so we can laugh at all of this but until then God Bless you all and the Fighting Irish.......p.s. Please take good care of my champ! Thanks

Mr. Brown, glad to hear you had such a great visit. I personally can't wait for your son to join the team, but in the bigger picture I am happy for you and your family that Chris will be able to receive a world class education at one of the finest universities anywhere. Take care and Go Irish!

Welcome to the family! Glad you loved the trip. And like GBDomer said, don't be afraid to keep posting. We would love that.

I second that. Would love to hear his thoughts on the other recruits too and who Chris bonded with the most on the trip.

Does Chris run the 100 meter

Does Chris run the 100 meter

Ive seen his triple jump highlights but was curious how fast he runs the 100 or 200 meter.
If he does what are his best times in the 100 and 200 meter

Thanks Mr. Brown. Could you also try and get some more video on Chris? The video we have now isn't very good.

I haven't started putting together his Sr. Year highlight tape but a few clips are on his public FB page: look up Chris K. Brown...... Hope that helps

He participates in the TJ, LJ, 4x100, and 200. Not sure of his best in the 200, but it's close to 21....something

Mr. Brown:

I recently put together a list of what football players can expect to get out of their degrees at every BCS school. It takes the average 30-year return on investment for graduates and discounts it by the graduation rate for football players. It might give you some ammunition against any SCar fans giving Chris a hard time for not staying in state.

The average ND graduate earns $1,442,000 in his first 30 years out of school over and above the average high school graduate. ND also graduates 100% of its black football players, so Chris' expected 30y return on investment from playing for ND is $1,442,000.

The average SCar grad earns an extra $379,100 over the first 30 years, and SCar only graduates 32% of its black football players. Therefore, Chris' expected return on investment from playing at SCar would only be $121,312.

In other words, a ND degree is worth over 10 times a SCar degree to Chris.

When it comes to providing educational value for black athletes, SCar is by far the worst among AQ-conference schools. I wonder how Spurrier spins that in his favor.

Just posted on Chris' facebook fan page.

I really like what I'm seeing. I'm thinking Chris is a big steal and really underrated as a 3 star.

Thanks but don't like the color reference.... a simple ND's grad rate > SCar would have been suffice.

I created a separate ranking based on GSR for black athletes because many successful football programs have a shamefully large disparity between their overall football grad rate and their grad rate for black players.

Didn't mean to give offense.

None taken.....honestly! Believe me a great deal of schools talk about education being their number one focus.....but the proof is in the numbers. Chris quoted the rate to me prior to committing but after talking face to face with Coach Kelly.....he stated several facts that every parents wants to hear. I do not know what other parents are using as a criteria but they would have to be..... I rather not say.
