Ara Parseghian may be 86-years-old, but he still has the passion and ability to deliver a speech that can inspire any football team.

The man who led Notre Dame to two national championship spoke at the Irish Pep Rally Friday night and fired up the ND team heading into its battle with Michigan State Saturday afternoon at the Stadium.

"We're going to be good hosts," Ara explained to the Irish crowd. "We're going to unlock the gates. And let the Spartans come in. Then we're going to lock those gates and we're not going to let them out until we kick their butts."
