Next two weeks are toss-ups, like they always are. It's a rivalry, throw everything out. This is going to be a ball game, but I hope I'm wrong and we win a blowout.

Lou Holtz just had some strong words for Michigan. Made it sound like they don't even belong on the same field as ND. Hope no UM players were watching that... bulletin board material for sure.

ND defense makes the game. ND 34 Michigan 21.

Absolutely. Shoelace doesn't even make it out of the first half, hell maybe not even the first quarter. He's gonna get crushed.

I agree with NDOM brother, there is a difference in being Fair-Weathered and realistic. I would challenge you to give me, or NDOM for that matter, a case where one thinks we are going to walk into the Big House, first night game for UM, Rival Game, emotions tremendously high, Robinson is a stud, and the Irish just come out roses with a 2 or 3 point spread win??????

ND's offense is far better then UM's defense, ND will move the ball at will. If they avoid shooting themselves, and make stupid unforced mistakes, they will win easily.

Denard is going to have his way? He'll get his no doubt, but is our edges just keep containment he won't cripple us this year. Our defense is far better then it was a year ago, 1 player will not beat us. Harrison Smith just has to be careful tackling midgets, you can't tackle smurfs by the head...its a penalty.

Fair analysis and I do not disagree with you but, this is an 'on-paper' analysis. Negate the mistakes last week and we have a possibe match-up tonight between two undefeated teams. But ND has got to do it on the field. I am really trying not to be a negative nanny but the Irish HAVE to get some wins. And those wins need to include the teams they are supposed to beat and win games that are close. We just haven't shown that type of tenacity in the past or present. Win and shut everyone up and that includes me........................... and NDOM..

The case: Michigan is not good.

What Michigan has going for it: crazy atmosphere in a night game; Denard Robinson; rest from playing an abbreviated tune-up game.

What Notre Dame has going for it: better players at every position but QB; focus and determination from losing last week.

Grab your popcorn and/or alcohol and hold on.
