Just be lucky that Kelly feels this is his most focused team "EVER"!
Could you imagine the number of mental and boneheaded plays otherwise?
Haha, great call. Reps.

I actually love the fact that Kelly screams at them because as fans, that is what we are all doing in our heads or saying to our friends. They need to Wake the F up. I like that he demands perfection. Stop being little girls and play ball. I cant repaeat 95% of the stuff I was saying without insulting members who've attended ND but to sum it up-- for some reason I feel that ND is soft. I am not happy right now.
hard to win a game when you turnover the ball 5 times, commit stupid penalties, drop passes, and do not play your assignments on Defense. You add 2 weather delays and well you have a 23-20 loss... If the Irish were to play South Florida 10 times they would win 9.. Too bad the one loss was today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO IRISH GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I suppose you won't want to waste your time coming here and talking about them, then?
Don't let the door..........
im scared for the rest of the season this could be ugly im worried thank god for beer.
Disappointing, yes! Not only in our team performance but Coach Kelly as well. His yelling at and intimidating the players like he did repeatedly only serves to crush any confidence in themselves and more importantly, sends a very bad message to potential recruits. They have to ask themselves, do I really want to play for a coach who shows so little respect for his players?

I guess I'll leave it to you to talk about how great they're playing then! (smirk). Look, I've been a fan most of my life, and I'll never quit them, but the facts are the facts. they've been underachieving for at least a decade. How many times have we seen them lose to teams with significantly inferior talent?
If talent were all it took to win a game, then they would play it on paper. They've only been "underachieving" to those whose expectations are unrealistic. This is a team that went 3-7, less than 5 years ago. In the meantime, they've gone through a coaching change, and myriad off the field distractions.
Come on... the first half and the points left off the board in the second half can't be put on Christ...
I too will always support this team... but i am also a Browns fan, and I am not calling for a Super Bowl this year...
I am a realist.... after today it's gets hard for me to see this team having what many here considered a "successful season" prior to this game...
things cahnge and believers are made imo... but right now I don't see more than eight wins... just looking at the schedule.... where are the wins???
this is why you don't front load the schedule... hopefully I'm wrong.
ha didin't even see the smiley... I was like... even alum is taking issue with me tonight... hard night
Sorry but I guess we're still the same old underachieving Fighting Irish...
Really, HEAD COACH? He fumbled the ball on the 1? He threw the easiest pick I have ever seen? He didn't look for the football on a crossing route? He missed a FG?
I'm not sure fumbling on the goal line and muffing punts and missing chippy field goals and not turning our heads on pass patterns are reflections of how we 'matched up' with USF. They're issues of focus.
