Please people. I want ND to win everygame (who doesn't) Today was ugly, but let's look at something:
We out gained them.
BJ did not impress me at all. That is credited to the D and Diaco.
Our players CAN play. They just need to do it RIGHT.
A couple calls were questionable by the refs. I thought Hayseed's 1st facemask call was a little iffy. The veterans have to step up and get everyone focused.
I have not seen a coach as passionate at ND as Kelly since Holtz.

We ended up losing by 3. Those 5 dumbass turnovers equate to a hell of a lot more than 3 points and I blame the players not Kelly for those.

I agree. Too many green and gold glasses here. Way too many. Need a shot of realism badly. The offense wasn't terrible. It did some good things. The defense held at times and bent and broke at times. The last score by Florida absolutely took the wind out and killed em. Floyd was good. Rees should start. The defense needs to hold contain badly. Not enough pressure on their QB.

My ONLY problem today was the QB. Both got a chance, didn't fall in love with EITHER. Hoping for Crist though next week.

Hate to say it, but that play was the difference. Ball on the 1, possible 14 point swing. Took the wind out until the beginning of the 2nd half. Who knows what kind of game it is if USF is down 7 instead of up 7 after that play...
