I actually like our chances with all three. The likelihood of getting each, in (fairly obvious) descending order: William > Byron > Keith.

Order of events is crucial. I really think we could end up with Keith, but I don't see him committing before the season's over. If William and Byron have already committed (which would be incredible), then Keith may pass on us.

I am ASSUMING Penn State gets slaughtered by Alabama and we beat Michigan State... and we gain Mahone's commitment shortly thereafter.

Then it all comes down to the timetable of the Marshalls and how certain teams perform on the field. Good year from Washington, Cal or Oregon could sink us with Byron. So could a good year from Georgia. But if ND wins 10 games... I think Byron is the first to pull the trigger (even though he plans on taking his time also) and will grab the spot.

Alternative? We are 7-0 after beating USC and Keith Marshall pulls the trigger right there.

I say we take one of the Marshalls and definitely Mahone. He is more of a power guy that would complement one of the others. It'd be like Smash & Dash (Lendale White and Chris Johnson Tennessee Titans 2008) all over again, except better.
