Prolly wont mean as much to him when Auburn has 5 or 6 losses and everyone realizes what Cam Newton and Nich Fairley meant to that team. Meanwhile ND will be BCS bound. Can't wait for the season to start so these recruits realize what a good thing NDs got.

Hopefully it's just a reassurance to him that he's that good to get offered by them but really has no shot for him....wishful thinking.

It just makes me think of recruits when I read about them that - "it is awesome to get an offer from ND" "I really wanted an offer from them they are a great tradition and up in coming program again.".......and go somewhere else.

an offer from the previous national champion is always encouraging for a prospect but auburn should suck this year.

If you are a DT watching football last year, Auburn was the school. Lately its been LSU, and a few other teams like Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Alabama.

Remember Gunner had Alabama and Oklahoma offers. Not everyone is interested in going to the dirty, dirty South or the team with the most recent Ws.

Auburn isn't going to be very enticing 3/4's the way through the season. Hopefully that works in our favor for guys like Sheldon and Keith M.

This is awesome!!! We needed to back up last year's dominant defensive line with more beasts on the D-line to create continuity like the teams in the South do, and this guy certainly fits the bill.

Remember these commits and these days the next time you start sulking about ND recruiting in April and July. Keep'em coming Kelly!

I dunno I feel that if we get Schutt that puts us in a tough spot for Jones.
