it has to come to make kids!!!!
I have been working since I was 14. First as a waitress, then in patient registration in the ER in South Bend. After I got my degree in nursing I decided to continue working in South Bend. I've worked in Internal Medicine, and now Oncology. I run chemotherapy for cancer patients. I love every second of my job and most people think I'm crazy when I say that. There's a lot of sadnessof course, but people in that situation are so positive and upbeat a real inspiration.

Verdict came down in my first trial this morning. Just got back from court.
1-0 career record. Undefeated.

Well done!
Hmmm... perhaps you should change your nic to Rhode Irish, Esq.

That deserves one of these:
Do you happen to work for P.A.R.C. Or A.R.C?
Haha. Yeah, I never thought I would do a trial. Came out of school doing all transactional stuff, but I was asked to work on putting together a defense in a commercial trial a while back and I loved it, so then I kept asking for my own trial. I finally got it and won it. Carpe diem! The emotions before, during and after the trial are as similar to sports as anything I have experienced in my adult life.
Anyway, this really isn't about my path, but it seemed like a decent place to share. I know everyone hates lawyers so I apologize for my excitement. But its a good feeling for me.
You may be thinking "why Medieval Studies" -- I was already doing accounting, why not pick the next most boring minor! But seriously, it's the best program for it in North America and ND is just about the coolest place to take a Medieval history class. Seriously. It's the next best thing to take if you're into architecture/art/history if you don't want to major in those things. You also get your own Medieval graduation ceremony, which is cool if you're nerdy like me.
I wish I had known that when I was at ND. I was a PLS major and sooo would have taken some MS classes, but I had no idea the dept. at ND was so good!
Did you ever have Professor Bolton, Pigtown?
went to Southern Illinois University
Nice. Saluki in the house. My aunt's husband (my uncle) is a Saluki. Very impressive to read about everyone's successes and plans.
Rhode, did you really say "thanks" to the GoldenITF for his offer of a prostate check?
Dude.
