what goes around comes around

what goes around comes around

Funny how things work out, his Dad has shown great distain in the past but when it comes to educating your son at a great football program Notre Dame still stands alone. I just hope his Dad doesnt wear any ND gear while at the game but as far as the son is concerned if he comes I hope he excells for Notre Dame and himself. He's most likely a good kid and maybe his Dad will get off Notre Dame's back now. 'Welcome Austin Collingswoth with open arms'. Chris just sit there and watch the game. I have a long memory. I 'm hoping May doesnt have a football player son who wants to look at Notre Dame.

I hope his dad doesn't come to any games. He'll probably be to busy washing Tom Brady's sack to come anyways.

Give the kid a break, he plays in Kentucky.......he is not playing in a football hotbed, it is probably a feat in itself to get noticed where he plays........I'll take the kid at this point, BK has been on the job for a week......at least he got someone......

I can see him as a slot receiver (as stated on ISD).

i hope not. we already have Toma on the roster and Bennet Jackson and Tai-ler Jones are both considered slot recievers. We need athletes on defense

There was a Rivals article that talked about how players are rated. Chris Badger is a 3 star but if he were playing in California he would be a 4 star with the same skill set because of the competition so you could have something to this

I watched his videos from ESPN and whatnot and he seems to have a nose for the football on the defensive side. He also doesn't seem to quit on plays.

He is playing in the Army AA game though, right? He could potentially increase his ranking. Welcome to ND Austin!

Also, I was reading somewhere the videos that are posted were supposedly only from his Sophomore year in highschool.

Could be a smart choice of recruits. Reestablishes the ND-NFL/National TV/PR direct connection. Kinda like a replacement for the loss of Weis/Polian in a recruiting sense.

Not impressed with his speed, but in the video provided he seems to have a nose for the football while on defense, and a nose for the end zone when he has the ball. He seems to have football savy.

Liked the angles he took to make the tackles.

Sorry, but it's not going to happen, if this is BK's idea of recruiting then stick a fork in us, we're done. I mean, hell, I've still got 4 yrs. of NCAA eligibility left, where's my offer? This is it? Scraping the bottom of the barrel?

And you so much more than BK and other CFB coaches do regarding recruits potential, huh? He's a 3* and they're scraping the bottom of the barrel, huh? You're clueless ... go follow a different team!

Cris Collinsworth's son eh? BK's first verbal is a kid who I thought had a father who hated ND.

Who's next? Colin Cowherd's son? A little mark may running out of the tunnel in south bend?

Don't know if MM has a kid.... but I could see a problem... like when an Islamic father kills a daughter who dishonors the family... MM would be in the headlines...

Here's a quote from a guy off another website.

Im glad we got someone from my home state of Kentucky.* However, Im not thrilled with this pick up.* Austin is a very smart kid and loves to play football, but he is truly not that good.* I have seen him play a few times.** His team beat my alma mater last year for state championship and I went to their championship game this year as well.* He had a good game but the talent he faces here is not good at all and even in the middle of all the sub par talent he still doesnt standout.** We*got a good student though.

Even a guy who has seen in person says against other sub par talent he doesn't stand out..

And he will also have severe trauma to the groin because I won't be able to stop myself from kicking him in the nuts when I see him. Well, maybe not because I want to keep my tickets, but I may heckle him. He will probably be ballwashing Tom Brady so he can't make any games anyways.
