Mahone is looking at PSU and ND hard right now with a decision likely to come soon.

Jarron Jones is still very interested in PSU. By no means is he a ND lock.

Reeves is still seriously considering ND and PSU. Looks like PSU still has an edge.

Tommy Schutt is basically down to two at this point in a lot of peoples minds with Florida and ND being the two.

If nobody commits in August, my guess would be Ian Thomas after the USF game. He understands the limited space.

I would say we have a good shot at Schutt, Mahone, and maybe Day in the next month with Mahone being the most likely.

I'd be elated just to get one of the DT's and Mahone (IMO the biggest needs), but all 4 would be super fantastic!

Unfortunately, in a Rivals article Day has named four of his official visit destinations and left off ND: (UM, VT, Tennessee, Stanford). The Michigan visit will be for the ND game so there's still time to make an impression.

He also said he will hold off on a decision until around December.

As TT said...he has been to ND 4X, so the fact that he is not going to ND on a NEXT offical visits does not mean we are not in his top 4. In fact I hear we are in the lead here...time will tell.

Would only make sense to use your officials for places that might cost you a few bucks if you were to go on your own dime. Hell he could practically crab walk to ND, so why use an official there.
