What's new everybody. A lot of new posters, most of you probably don't remember me. How is everyone doing? Going to try to start posting more again after mostly just reading II.

I remember you. Come on back buddy. I am registered at both I.E. and GH, (and maybe DD, but I can't remember the password) but the graphics on I.E. are easier on the eye. Otherwise, twin sites. Probably same posters. Both have good mods.

I'm on II as well, but its hard to take the incessant PMS mood swings over there. 247's board is a joke. They all hold hands, sing kumbaya and hand out poster of the week awards to people that should not be encouraged to post more.

IE is the happy medium. Plus we have a deer, a crusader, and a hippie.

I don't know how you take II man. I am between IE and DD, hard to admit I also post on ND nation and get sucked into there circle jerk. UHND use to be good but man they went all to hell. I have found myself spending most of my time here the last few months.

ISD is the best board that you "pay" for out there in my opinion. IrishIll will get 1000000000xs better here in a few days/weeks when they get that ignore a poster in place. 24-7 is about to get a lot better with their info/profiles so I expect things on that board to change a lot more in the next year.

I am impressed with IrishEnvy as a new member. Educated posts, with people that actually know a thing or two about football.

I don't know how anyone can take NDNation. That is the biggest collection of miserable people you'll ever find on the Net. It's like they look forward to ND losing so they can say "I told you so!" and wallow in their own self misery.

I agree with you on ISD. Out of the "Big 3", they are the best IMO. Great info, great recruiting info, they do it with integrity, lots of insightful posters, and CoachD's articles alone are worth the price.

Why pay for opinions? Why join a site, then "ignore" posters? Seems silly.

You don't pay for opinions of most posters, you pay for the recruiting info (for crazy, stupid, obsessed recruiting nuts like me - and really, if you wait 2 minutes the stuff is posted on other free sites anyways), you pay for the inside information of the staff of the site (who are privy to such info w/ their sources within ND), you pay for the opinions of the staff (as I mentioned, there simply isn't anyone better at breaking down ND football and ND recruits than ISD's CoachD), and then yes, you pay to interact with some great posters on those sites. There's some dudes on those sites who will blow your mind away with their football knowledge. And there are far less idiots (for the most parts) on those sites than you'll find on most free sites - this one excluded of course!

If you're not that die-hard, or aren't into recruiting, or are tight on funds, I wouldn't do it. But if you have an extra $10 a month and are into it, I'd recommend joining a pay site.

They have a few good debates(Far and few in between) on NDNation but mostly it is a pissing match between Alumni.

nice to meet you sir. to put it in perspective. I started posting here either in 7th or 8th grade haha. I forget which. I am going to be a senior in high school coming up. I lied about my age in the initial years because I did not think I would be taken seriously. Not that I was taken seriously anyway haha! But nice to meet you.
