On that subject, do "non-actionable" offers really exist?

I know the term gets batted around the board here occasionally, but in reality I think all it means is that the coaching staff is telling a kid they're interested, but they need to see what happens with higher targets on their board first.

In other words, "we're not ready to offer you yet" = non-actionable offer. I don't think that sort of things gets listed on the recruiting services.

I could be wrong, but assuming he's literate, why wouldn't we offer this kid?

There are some very encouraging quotes from Marshall up on ISD right now... basically to the effect of what some of us have been saying for a long time. He likes ND a lot and is optionally taking summer school so that he can meet the language requirement for ND.

As long as we have a 10 win year, it's hard to imagine him not ending up here.
