im going to IU most likely physical education as a major

We're both from Indiana too. lol I guess we will race to the ND job, eh? ;)

And I'm going to Ball State. I live in Muncie so I mean...lol.

My major is honestly in the air though. I feel I could do Political Science even.

I've lost my biggest connection to the Ball State football program, but I think I still have a couple "in's" so I'll try to get aboard with them. I might have a job at my highschool coaching though by as early as this summer.

And IUSB just signed a basketball player from my school, Mark White. You're going to be pretty close to ND though, lucky. You might want to try to get in with some of the highschool coaches up there while you're there.

Sounds like you're set then! Btw, I'm going to PM you so the thread mods don't throw a hissy fit for us posting all this in a recruit's thread.

Rivals ranks him as the # 21 athlete and is a 3*
Rivals ranks Nick Baratti as the # 24 athlete and is a 4*

I'm thinking Mr. Perkins will be receiving a 4th star soon.

Actually Baratti is a 3* on Rivals. Both are just outside of the 4* range.

Athlete David Perkins declined to declare he was totally done with the recruiting process despite being committed to Notre Dame.

"I kind of think it's a commitment, but you only get to do this once," said Perkins, who plays in Notre Dame's backyard at South Bend (Ind.) Washington.

Perkins, the 39th-best athlete prospect in the country, admitted he had strong interest in Michigan State, Tennessee, Oregon, Penn State and Syracuse before committing to the Fighting Irish last month.

The Opening notes: Bri'onte Dunn still a Buckeye ... for now - ESPN

Well, the roller coaster is firmly on the tracks and now clanking up the hill. We'll have the handful that remain committed the whole time but expect some de-commits... and some re-commits.. and then some de-commits.

It's so early in the process and once the season starts, hell, once practices start in August, your mind will be in the right place. I've learned, over the past few seasons especially, that getting too wrapped up in recruiting in the summer only leads to madness and tomfoolery.

This is me talking in generalities, not saying you or anyone is freaking out.

ND wins = ND top 5 recruiting class

Unless we end up with someone like Odenigbo or Spence, he's probably an OLB, since we aren't sitting pretty with a lot of elite talent at OLB.

Regardless, I still like him better at OLB. He's the second coming of Prince Shembo.

The Opening" ......this ish crazy dope!!! 5 of us out here repin lookin like we gon leave wit 7 *Irish*

David Perkins facebook statuts. For those of you who cant understand what he is saying cause it took me about 5 minutes to figure it out also. Ferguson, Harrell, Greenberry, Sheppard, and Perkins are the 5 Irish commits there in Oregon. Saying he is going to leave with 7. So Perkins thinks he will get two verbals soon. Lots of smoke right now and where there is smoke there is usually a fire.
