I cant seem to find a list of the recruits that are either committed or have high interest in OSU that also are seriously considering Notre Dame. Anybody want to get on that?

Our staff needs to flex some muscle here. The two teams that benefit most from this will be us and Michigan. We have to beat scUM for the better ones.

There's a thread that lists OSU recruits already although it may not be readily apparent from the title.

Eventual OSU Probation Fallout - Recruiting...

Meyer commented, "I am committed to ESPN and will not pursue coaching opportunities this fall."

Well no ****. They are looking for a coach for 2012.

He will wait and see what becomes of the allegations.

As I read on Twitter a while ago (I'd give credit, but I can't remember who posted it)..

If there was ever a day Brian Kelly was going to announce that Micheal Floyd was coming back to the team, not missing a single game, today would be that day.

All I meant was that if they didn't suffer severe penalties the whole state would be reengerized and enter Urban Meyer. Let's face it, some might think he is dirty but he wouldn't have to be at OSU....

He didn't have to be dirty at Florida, either. But, by most accounts, that didn't stop him.

That's already happened.

Am I missing something here?

I think he insinuated it ("All in our all out"), but hasn't made a final decision.

But the idea that Kelly stand at a podium and actually say, "Yep, Mike's back. He'll start against USF" is what he was getting at. It would be the one day that it wouldn't make the front page on ESPN.

I would have to disagree. It has made ESPN's front page and the message is clear: Floyd will start against USF IF he meets the conditions Kelly has set forth, which I am sure are zero tolerance standards for alcohol related incidents, which are only of the driving variety now he's of legal age.

He will suit up for us game 1.

Eh, either way. I wasn't trying to start a "Will Mike start" debate, or anything of that nature.

I just agreed with the idea that, if you have any "dirty" laundry to air, today would be that day, as the major press is all covering/analysing the Tressel ordeal.

On a side note, the same twitter guy (I'll find it again) who is aparently a writer for someone, suggested Bob Diaco as the perfect canidate for Ohio State.

I thought Notre Dame is his "dream job." Kirk you suck!

Technically Urban has always had three quoted dream jobs. Those would be Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame.

Odds he ever coaches at any of those schools? Slim to none.

While I agree with you that he isn't honorable, he probably didn't bail out. Most reports say he was "encouraged to resign" which really means resign or we will fire you.

Not sure if it's been posted already or deserves its own thread...

Significant inquiry by NCAA and OSU under way for Pryor, sources say | The Columbus Dispatch

Pryor is likely done at OSU. ESPN reported a few minutes ago that Pryor has been linked to/driven TWELVE different cars in his 3 years at OSU. Kind of hard to believe considering he was selling jerseys and rings for a couple hundred bucks to feed his family.

I just saw this....... Is it too late for the supplemental draft!?

Pryor is the awful sequel to Maurice Clarett. Dirty dirty dirty.

The damning SI report still isn't out, right? An update to the thread title would be great when we finally get the story. I'm sure someone will link it immediately.

Apparently Lou Holtz is about to comment about Tressel on ESPN.
