Colin cowherd brought up the possibility of it today on his radio show. Noted Pac 12 commish is "monitoring the situation" and "always planning" if NFL locks out. I for one would be ticked if I had to watch ND on a sunday, unless it was a bowl game.

Thoughts? Ready...go

I am guaranteed sundays off pretty much so I wouldn't mind watching our Irish play every Sunday! As of right now I will only see the night games live.

I want the NFL to have a complete lockout this season, you'd see non-BCS schools and the Pac-12 seriously look into playing on Sundays. I have no problem with it.

The MAC would deluge the airwaves on sundays, with the same theory that they've had about games every other "odd" day of the week. The "little midwestern sister" does everything it can to try to "catch a little pub". [Uggh. Hate that expression. Why do I do these things....??]

Pac 10 gets no respect because no one watches it. Smart move by the conference

sorry fellas, it just would not be right, give me both.

i would prefer both as well. but i think you will see the pac 12 definitely make the move to sunday. im not so sure about the irish. think about the tv contracts as is. nbc has nd football and sunday night football. so, possibly, the irish could move into that time slot. but i dont see it happening with all of the "tradition" and such. logistacally, its a problem.

fox doesnt have any rights except bowl games, so they wont carry any. itll be abc and espn.
im not sure cbs or nbc trades up pga tour golf on sundays for football and they (cbs) carry the sec, so they wont move.

maybe the NFL and NBA will just collapse all together and we can all enjoy more entertaining leagues...

Every kid that is of Mormon faith would have to sit out if they played on Sundays... well, at least if they were absolutely true to their religion.....

as for me, I would watch it, hell I watch games from the 70s up until present day on ESPN Classic when they are on... Funny as hell too, I know the final score and how the game is going to end and I still flame and curse out the TV as if I had never seen the game!!!!! :krazy:

Really? Would that mean that Mormons can't play in the NFL or any other sport that plays on Sundays unless they are untrue to their religion?

if college games get moved to sundays it will be the middle of the pack guys with an occasional headlining BCS conference game (Clemsons/South Carolina, Fla/LSU, etc) i don't think it will happen to an extreme degree, but it is definitely a possibility and one that i would not be disappointed in personally...No NFL or NBA = no problem.
