Offered. Currently has Ohio State as high with the rest of the pack trailing.

Not sure if he's a line prospect or an OLB at this point.

Can't find a mention of his speed, but he was offered in Basketball by Xavier---pretty big time talent, thereby. On a down note, he called OSU his "dream school" as a sophomore.

the kid is also a freak on the basketball court...not kentucky good, but shows you what type of athlete he is...currently playing AAU baskeball and i'm not sure if he's even going to go to any camps.

You can tell Rich Rod is gone because the interest level of solid/elite defensive players in Michigan, has gone through the roof. It's good to see honestly. I love a good, hard hitting Michigan/ND match-up. That being said, I hope they don't land to many of these guys. I guess the big question this year and next will be, who benefits most from the OSU off field problems? Right now, I give the upper hand to Michigan.

From OSU Nike Camp:

There was plenty of talent that was coming off the edge on Saturday as well and perhaps none had a stronger reputation than Cincinnati (Ohio) Taft defensive end Adolphus Washington. Washington had a good day playing defensive end and showed some of the athleticism that helped him average over 20 points per game on the basketball court this season. Washington remains a big upside prospect that has some room for improvement in regard to his technique and his motor but when he wants to turn it on, Washington is a unique athlete to handle.

what is his gpa? he was orininaly at a Cinci area catholic school then transfered to to taft. i saw him play basketball this past season and he appeared to have a very high sport iq as well as being very athletic for a big guy. that said id be shocked if he was giving ND a serious look...thats just the feel i have.

Not sure we are still in the mix as previously stated.

Adolphus Washington names final five at Columbus NFTC - ESPN

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- ESPNU Watch List defensive lineman Adolphus Washington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Taft) is ready to cut his list.

The 6-foot-4, 251-pound Under Armour All-American says Michigan, Ohio State, Kentucky, Alabama and Miami have made the top five.

"I like Ohio State because of the tradition and I'm from here and I just love the program," Washington added. "Michigan and Miami are both rebuilding their programs and they are willing to play young talent.

"When it comes to Kentucky, I like them, my dad likes them, it's SEC football and it's close to my family."

The Crimson Tide, while not close to home, has a family connection that could work in their favor.

"My cousin, Alfred McCullough, plays there so going there would be like going to another home," Washington said. "My dad is from Alabama, actually most of my family is from there."

Maybe I'm nitpicking here, but is it possible to mention and/or link to the source with these excerpts? Had the same issue in the Nick Baratti thread. Even if the entire story is posted, including the source helps with context, and it is also probably the right thing to do from a attribution standpoint, anyway.

the context is that he aint coming to south bend to play football... lol!
