We got Tee without him visiting. We got Jalen Brown without visiting. Not messed up in our eyes there though. Just saying.

All his 40 year decision talk - to me thats either ND or Stanford. I can't do anything but root for a kid with his priorities in order, even if he does choose to play in Palo Alto.

Not apples and apples. First, Davis has said this commitment = shutting down recruiting, so it'd be very weird if he picked a place he had never seen if that's truly his intent. It'd just be very weird to say "I'm done, recruiting is finished" and then maybe go on an OV and hate the place.... what then?

Tee and Jalen are two very different recruits, but one thing in common is that they never took that kind of approach to things.

PM me your thoughts? Or is this a cryptic way of saying you don't actually know and it could be any one of the three?

Jalen didn't take a single other visit, and neither yet has Tee. Just because Jalen didn't use the media in his recruitment our announcement doesn't mean he didn't shut everything down as well right when he gave us his commitment. Agree to disagree I guess my man.

Basically he know who it is. It's either ND, Florida or USC. Let's just hope for the best is basically what he's saying

I'm just confused as to how you can say you know who it is, but then say it's one of the three. If you know it's only out of ND, Florida, or USC then say that rather than make it appear that you know the school he plans on announcing tomorrow.

And KPENN, I know you didn't say it but I'm going off your post soo...yea. :p

But see that's kinda my point... Noor Davis has seen ND, Florida and grew up around SC. So wouldn't it be odd if he visited all of those places but then picked a school he had never been to? That's pretty different from recruits who only took one visit and it was to the school they committed to.

Anyways, not really important, just saying that it would a shocker to me if he picked Stanford... and it would really tick me off because they in play for way too many elite national recruits that are also smart, good kids. For Notre Dame to have an "edge" in recruiting we need to dominate those kinds of recruits... and to think that a school that can't fill its stadium and went 0-12 only a couple years back keeps fighting us tooth and nail for guys is just sad. I want Alex Carter and Noor Davis :( :( :( :( :(

Because he probably has premium info and it's a no no to post that sorta thing on a public board

They pulled stud MLB Vaughters from the South last year as well, not to mention Mr. Lyons. I totally get what your saying, but I really can't root against any kids who pick an academic institution and truly embrace the "40 year decision" - whether it be ND or Stanford. It sucks its not us in the case, but we have and will continue to get our share of great student athletes as well. If Noor doesn't choose ND tomorrow, I hope its Stanford.

Tee and Jalen are two very different recruits, but one thing in common is that they never took that kind of approach to things.

There's been more guys that have committed without visiting. Utopo did the same thing...and he signed with ND.

And Lax, you should know that just b/c a kid says he's done with recruiting, doesn't mean he's done with recruiting. Remember Chris Martin? Man, when he committed, I bought ALL of his b.s. about telling coaches he was a solid as a rock and that he wouldn't take their calls. Remember Prestwood? Great kid, LOVED Notre Dame, told us all that he would tell the other coaches that he wouldn't talk to them because he was solid to ND, and a few months later he was a Seminole. And what about Burton last year? Told the ND coaches it didn't matter if FL offered - he was sticking to ND. Florida finally offered, and 2 days later he pledged to FL.

And on the flip side, we get 'solid verbals' at other schools to flip to ND as well. I won't believe anything until NSD. Been burned too many times.

So him committing to a great school like Stanford without visiting doesn't faze me at all. Good for him, if that's what he wants to be about. If he goes to USC though...now that would be a shame. And I don't say this b/c of my hatred for SC - I say this because of the sanctions, because of the AWFUL head coach, because of how sh!tty of a fanbase they are, especially when they are bad. USC can offer him a great education, but he won't be around players that have the same affinity for knowledge/education that he has. Stanford and ND offer that.

But I still say FL. I have access to a USC pay site, and their mods/fans are mum about him going to SC. They are somewhat hopeful, but they know they are a longshot.

It's not Stanford. He wouldn't have made a sudden decision to move up his announcement date up for a school he has yet to visit. This is going to be something he feels zero doubt about.

Let's not forget he is from Cali, not Florida. His family only moved there recently.

I don't know why we obsess and speculate on who he is going to pick. He's going to pick who hes going to pick. If its Notre Dame great, if its not its not. Plenty of other guys out there. I'm starting to realize that obsessing over one recruit is pretty stupid when there are so many capable kids out there. The only recruit I could actually see myself stressing over is DGB especially if we were a top 3 or something. This kid is a good kid but there's good kids everywhere. Just a couple more hours people.

I have read 5 or 6 different sites. There is no one out that has anything definitive. It is all speculation. I do not have a clue which school he will pick. I hope it's ND. We will find out in 14 1/2 hr.s.

Yep, if not us then Stanford is the best out of the rest in my opinion so can't fault him if he does commit there. Still crossing my fingers

The comments he had about ND and Stanford. Just appeared to me that he seemed extremely impressed with Stanford.

Nobody even thought they were involved a day ago.
