There are SO MANY guys on this list that we are in good position with. This should be one exciting year in recruiting.

Keith Marshall is much lower than I expected @ #55.

Impressive list of targets. Landing Peat would be epic. I didn't go watch him play this year, but heard he's the real deal, and a good kid to boot.

In other news, there is an insane amount of elite talent in the greater DC area compared to most years... and like New Jersey, where there isn't a dominant local school, all of it should be largely up for grabs.

i was pleasantly surprised to see all of the talent we're in the running for on the list.

great to see that we're attracting the elite talent needed to compete at the bcs level like we used to always do.

That's a good list. No suprise DGB is no 1. He truly is a cant miss player like J. Jones was for Bama a few years ago.

Suprised Marshall is that low at 55.

surprised mahone and kimbrow were rated that high??

these guys would be a solid 1-2 punch for the two RB's we need in this class. of course so would marshall. great to see our targets in this list.

I'll say the over/ under on this list for ND commits is 5. I'll take the under so I am pleasantly surprised when we get more.

Looks like Rivals agrees with me, having Tracy Howard rated a head of Tee and Darby. Howard or Wright would be the icing on the cake for this DB class!

TT--Did you not include Eddie Goldman b/c he is a longshot, or am I out of the loop and do we have no shot w/ him? I think he is #4 overall, would love to have that behemoth.

I had everyone who has said they were interested in ND.

Every school in the country is after him. I'd say he's a long shot.

I could have included Arik Armstead as well if we wanted to throw all the offers in.

I'll add Gunner to keep your hopes alive.

I highly doubt he is coming.

DGB does remind me alot of Moss when he was in high school, I doubt he gets the hate chants that Moss got though haha

I swear I think he has posters of Gunner in his room or something. The love he has for him is a bit creepy I must say

surpised about how many dbs are ahead of tee and darby

Keep in mind Rivals hasn't distinguished between CB and S yet. So while there are 10 ahead of Darby and 6 ahead of Shepard, some of those will be weeded out when they rate the specific positions.

FWIW, Scout has Shaq Thompson (10), Landon Collins (17), Eddie Williams (20), Travis Blanks (27), and Alex Carter (62) all listed as DBs. So in theory we can eliminate 5 DBs ahead of where Shepard would rank as a CB and 6 ahead of where Darby would rank.

Essentially we still have 2 top 5 CBs. However that may not be the case when Rivals does their position rankings. They may project someone at a different position, which can skew the position order.
