I'd love to see Rudy go as early as you guys are saying, but there seems to be a lot of momentum for him ending up in Denver. They have a lot of ND guys, and apparently they're lobbying hard for him. Plus, DEN doesn't have a TE.

So you think Denver takes him early in the 2nd or waits and prays that he is still there at #14? The Rams are picking #15 and I wouldn't be surprised if they either traded up to try to grab Rudolph OR let Denver grab him and picked up a WR with that pick. In no way do I see Rudy slipping past that #14/#15 spot.

Poor St. Louis... they needed a TE and were *this* close to getting Rudy. To those wondering why draft Rudy with Shiancoe still around it's because Shiancoe only has one year remaining on his contract and is getting older. Much more cost effective to grab a great value pick in Rudy and have overlap for a year. And you can never have too many TEs when you:

1. Love to run the ball.
2. Are bringing in a rookie QB.

Redskins both totally ****ed up AND handed the Giants the two picks they should have taken. Wow. To think the Skins could've grabbed Prince and Austin AND a 2nd round WR... but instead ended up with some ACC chump + Kerrigan and traded their other pick all the way out of 2nd round makes me want to vomit.

If they grab Mallet in the 4th + a RB + WR it *may* all work out though.

Actually, unless he's an utter trainwreck of character issues, he can sit behind Tom Brady and learn from the best in the business, then handle the reigns once the HOF veteran leaves. It worked perfectly for Aaron Rodgers.
