"The Big10 is the best conference" is where this idiot lost me.

I can't believe this limp-**** moron gets almost as many replies as my great thread about drinking whiskey. There truly is no justice in the world.

I'm with ya there, brutha!

I've never liked Canadian Whiskey ... except for cooking. I had two bottles (left-overs from my wedding reception) and it took me ten years to flambé them.

A 3 hr 45 minute drive is no biggie and shouldn't be a deterrent. The man is a wishy-washy wuss. I've made the drive from Minneapolis to South Bend many times (10 to 12 hours depending on traffic), most recently with my son to take in the Utah game last year.

Maybe a fun but true story...my oldest pup nephew and Godson is a Truman or something or other scholar (I should be a better Godfather...) with a full ride to any University in the country. He chose to stay in Texas. He and his younger brothers beat up concrete when Notre Dame du Lac loses a game in any sport, and can outwit the BGiiF, SirDhishands while in Palmolive, out-old the Old Man Mike, out Yank the Nanker and over-Trot Bo. They could probably defend themselves and win a lawsuit against NDinLA.

They still can't drive a car.

NO ONE KNOWS TROTTING LIKE BO!

And what a great game to have traveled and watched...

Maybe we should send you every game. Our lucky charm. You and Redbeard.

Him not wanting to support ND because its closer to support Michigan.... I live in effin southern illinois. Outside of the SIU salukis and the Southern illinois Miners minor league baseball team i dont have any team close besides the cardinals and the rams (and the rumor is the rams are going back to LA soon so mainly just the cardinals) I still Support ND cause I have my whole life, sure its been a rough last few years but this guy is flippin dumb.

I live close to BC. I don't think I will become a BC fan real soon. I will shoot myself first.

'Twas a good weekend. It was my son's first time setting foot on ND ground. He endured my stories (both on the road and on campus) and actually appreciated my "old fart" advice to bring a jacket with a hood once it cooled down and rained during the game. He couldn't believe I could be so animated outside of responding to certain Grateful Dead tunes.

My advice to this bozo is to stick with ND and take advantage of travel time to connect with family. Redbeard had a good time.

I make the motion to change the title of this thread from "Lifelong Notre Dame Fan now cheers for Michigan" to "Lifelong Notre Dame "fan" now cheers for Michigan." Because obviously he was never a true fan.

Do I hear a second?

I second the motion.

Oh wait. If any of my young family chooses a University other than ND (come to think of it, no one of my young family has attended...) I might kinda find joy I guess if they do well at that school. But I will BAN them from my living space when their school plays NDduLac. It is for their own safety.

Hell, I go to U Florida and live right next to the stadium on campus, but I don't have any plans to change allegiances bc the SEC is the real best conference.

I live 15 hours by car or 3 hours by plane from ND, but that doesn't stop me from going to a game a year. You can make it work if you want to enough.

Just a poor excuse for a ND "fan". I say good riddence and we won't miss you.

I saw the title and though this thread was about phork.

Was it Wabash that labelled him "The Walmart Wolverine"?

You'd need to make sure your passport is current. The man is from Windsor, Ontario. Which might explain a lot.*

*My sincere apologies to all TRUE Irish fans in Canada.

His name is Leroy McGregor. A Scot Canadian. Which explains more.

I'm still baffled as to how this made the news. WHO CARES?

Yeah...let's start another Maty Mauk/Gunner Kiel thread!!!

Dude, it's April 23rd...not much to talk about, and this is a fun, light topic. We all know it's not 'news', but it sure is fun to clown a Michigan 'fan'.

Cause it's the first ND "fan" to switch since Fielding Yost.

The Big 10 has a PR campaign going to keep Tressel and the Tats off the front page.

"...thats right sonny boy, all things worth it in life are the easy things!" "Standing for something means doing it if its easy!"

Somehow I can see all of us paying Junior's way in life with a pops providing perspective like that...or, Junior will be a monumentally "successful" politician.

Yea, I'm probably the one in need of perspective, since it is just a school...a football team...Right?

Blech! Makes me sick saying it ...even sarcastically.

Did we get a name? Because I live in Windsor as well and I could pay him a "visit". You know in the spirit of gamesmanship and brotherly love and all that.

In hindsight, I was right at the time when you all tried to poopoo my opinions.

Find him on these pages:

His name is in the article, (author), but if I told you that anyone could claim I shared in the liablility if someone did anything foolish.
