Offered per II. EliteScoutingService has this to say about him (plus more in link).

Physically as we mentioned above Ferguson is on another level then most receivers in Florida. He has the build to get much bigger. He measures in at 6’2, 205 pounds. We expect him to be a 215-220 pound receiver in College. He runs solid routes, especially those across the middle of the field. On the short hitches, curls and come back routes Ferguson can be tough to stop. His physical play also will help his team out in the run game. He can seal the edge on sweeps and your running back can pick up another 5-10 yards. He has good hands and knows how to get open.

So far the most interesting thing about this to me is that the whole state of Florida knows about this player and has offered him, BUT NO ONE ELSE---EXCEPT Notre Dame!! That speaks loudly to me about how on-the-ball Staff Kelly is about everything football. Just one more reason to say: Wow what a staff and organization we have now!! [I know that others will wake up and offer, but WE are in there quickly---pretty impressive].

According to this 3/31 FREEBIE article on Scout

Scout.com: Ferguson with Three on Top

his offers are,

I have offers from Florida State, Florida, Notre Dame, FIU, and UCF.

That may explain why ND is in his Top 3 at this point. He notes he doesn't know much about ND now but plans a visit soon to learn about ND firsthand.

Ferguson has already been taking trips to see some of these schools and has a big one planned for next month some time.

“I visited Florida (February), Florida State (January), I am going to Notre Dame next month,” he said. “I have visited FIU and Miami and am going to visit UCF.”

He says the right things about education and hitting the books.

Rivals list him with a MIA offer but in his quote from 3/31 on Scout he has no MIA offer.

• Ferguson is headed in for a 3 day trip. ND made first out of state offer. Lemming says he’s a great ball player. He commented on how well ND does with the state of Florida. We should have a legit shot at him. He understands he’s a great all around athlete.

"Notre Dame came away from the Blue-Gold weekend with a trio of commitments in the Class of 2012 and the Irish almost got a fourth.

Justin Ferguson (Pembroke Pines, Fla/Flanagan High School) made his first trip to South Bend this weekend. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound receiver has offers from Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State, Florida International and Central Florida. He had already visited the Florida schools and wanted to see how the Irish stacked up. They stacked up favorably. "

Compliments from ISD. But I can't read any more on it. Anyone have any insight on this kid and his visit as to why he "almost" committed but didn't????? Looks like a solid player.

This guy is really off the radar still. Apparently only the Florida schools and us know about him? Looks like WR slots might be filling up very quickly.....

Not too often that the Florida schools offer a kid and no one else does. What a weird case. I wonder what this kid's deal is.

What are our chances? Havent heard too much about him..

Very good. At this point in time it appears we are very competitive or a leader for Greenberry, Darboh, Ferguson, Treggs, and some others.

Obviously we will take DGB whenever if he wants to come (maybe a couple other guys would also force us to take 4 WRs like Jordan Payton or Cayleb Jones)...but I do not think we even offer Greenberry if our lead holds true with Darboh, Ferguson, and Treggs.
