I heard this on Mike & Mike this morning. They had Brian Kelly and Pat Fitzgerald. It was pretty funny, Mike & Mike were going at it. This should be fun!

I like this a lot. Pat does run a great program at Northwestern. It makes a lot of sense, and both teams get to benefit from this matchup.

I remember when I was younger this seemed to be an annual matchup...glad to see it's back on the schedule...remember when darnell autry and steve schnur beat us and we thought we were in for a long year? Northwestern went on to the rose bowl and we lost a heartbreaker to fla st. in the orange bowl

I remember that like it was yesterday. We had a solid team. I believe that was Derek Mayes last year. At the time of the loss to Northwestern it was a devastating embarrassing one, but it didn't turn out to bad in the long run.

I would love it if they replaced the MSU game with this and moved it to later in the season. If MSU wants to continue to play us at a part of our season we don't like, then lets replace them.

It hurt like hell at first, but by mid year Northwestern had beaten everybody and it became obvious that was just their year... they went to the Rose Bowl that year

IMO Baylor is:

A) not nearly as academically prestigious as some believe

How do you have Army and Navy, but not the Airforce? Also, have to agree about Baylor. Sub Baylor for UCONN or IU.
