I don't how Kiel went from "wanting to stay close to home and get a good education" to an OU/Bama/Vol lean. Yes, that is a quote. I'm buying OU because he has made multiple visits but I am very skeptical of all of this SEC interest.

Not doubting your source, just personally skeptical.

Every right to be skeptical sir, however he is the top QB in the nation and how many times have we watched an interview with a top blue chip recruit, and listen to them talk about akademiks? It happens all the time. When the recruiting really picks up, that's when you see what these kids are really interested in. Fact is, right now the best football is played in the Southeast. Maybe it's because they have the deepest pockets, but nonetheless, its fact. Top recruits want to play for top schools.

Who is the source, because every recruiting site I go to says differently? Until these Mauk rumblings, most sites had him as either a ND or OU lean. I have not seen one site mention that he has high interest in Alabama. When I google, "Gunner Kiel Alabama", the only thing I come up with is some dude claiming he "heard it from Gunner himself" on the Indiana message board, hardly a "good source".

Until Scout, Rivals, ESPN, or at least someone that makes their living as a journalist says that he is leaning Bama... I will continue waiting.

I'm blaming you for Prestwood because you said it was your "surprise". How bout you just say your recruit now. You will have way more legitimacy when the player actually commits by claiming it as your surprise beforehand, rather than just making us wait and say the next person to commit is your guy. Maybe he, is maybe he isn't. All's I'm trying to prove is these post are pointless.
