ya, it's toobad you have to play my bulls in the first round.
I was always a Pacers fan until Reggie retired...the NBA hasn't been the same since, so I don't watch anymore. Not much of an accomplishment of them getting in the playoffs, seeing as how they're 36-43.
this is the year baby!!!!

Could be a good series...pacers actually match pretty well with them
I don't see it. I am a Pacers fan as well, but we have no one to guard D Rose. Beat them once out of how many tries this year?
The year of what, exactly?
Coming from a knicks fan who has 2 superstars and are a whole 5 games better record wise than the pacers. Knicks fans are delusional
Relax there buddy. It's not "our year" for either team. No delusions here. Thanks for the heat check though.
I have been a Pacers fan for years. I have always supported all of my Indy teams through thick and thin. I will say however that I only casually follow them these days. The worst day in Pacers history was the whole Detroit Melee fiasco several years back. I kind of knew that the Pacers were doomed back then. What started out as a VERY promosing season ended up a disaster, and it hasn't gotten anything but worse in the years since. I miss the days of Reggie Miller, Rik Smits, Mark Jackson and the Davis'. Those were the good times and a time when the whole city of Indianapolis supported and rallied around their hometown team. It was a respected franchise and they were always fun to watch. The last several years have been an embarrassment for the city with player's personal issues etc, and a horrible record to boot. I'm happy with the direction the team is headed now, as they are trying desperately to restore the winning ways with a touch of class. I think the Pacers need a superstar player to put them over the top though. They are far from anything special these days, but hopefully they will continue to grow and continue in the right direction. Getting into the playoffs, no matter how ugly it may seem; is a huge accomplishment that the Pacers should be proud of.
Correct, Larry bird has gotten players who stay out of trouble and are good basketball players at that. They're young and raw but the future looks some what bright. Honestly though ive been to 8 games this season and i figured fans would start making a comeback, its sad that hasnt happened yet
