Wisconsin - constantly pounding the ball, produces quality o-linemen, they love their football there.

Northwestern - childhood favorite, very good and energetic coach, outstanding education.

Notre Dame - we all know why ND is a great choice.

I can't fault the kid for going to any of these schools. It's almost assuredly not going to be ND, but still, I wish the kid luck...
I'd also add to Wisconsin hot girls!

No big suprise. Glad he stayed away from the state of Michigan because I think this guy is a stud. Good pull for the Badgers and good decision by Voltz.

IMO Wisky and Iowa should get every good OL from the Midwest, they develop linemen better than just about anyone.

The Big10 turns out good OL on a yearly basis. I hate that ND was not his choice, but it is hard to argue with his decision. Wisconsin is very well known for great OL prospects. I wish him the best of luck with his college career.

way too early to call this over.. Verbals at this time in the year are basically reservations for the school they liked best so far ... hope Kelly and Co. don't give up on this kid

No0o0o0o0o. I loved his name, and there were so many quality, cheesy lines I was thinking up. That block by Voltz was electric! He really shocked the defender there!

Re: Steelhead's point: I think that if we give Warriner two years, he'll add Notre Dame to that list. A lot of guys will be rolling out of here looking like Zach Martin. I'm betting TRobinson makes a big leap this year and so does Cave. And then will come the assembly line of the young monsters we have in the system. We ought to get back to those days where everyone said that the one thing you could always count on with Notre Dame was an endless march of NFL quality linemen.

Also there's rumor on the Rivals board that the staff was not impressed with his measurables on junior day.

I just feel bad for this kid if this is another instance where media outlets are breaking the news first to have the "scoop", and are ruining what would have been a great moment for the kid tonight. He deserves to have his moment in the limelight and announce his decision in front of family and friends without the (I imagine) deflating feeling of knowing that an overzealous outlet already informed the world.

There's a similar thought on the ISD boards, that he was not overly impressive looking in person and that the staff is higher on other prospects. Don't want it to come off like sour grapes, that's just what is being said. I think he would have been a good guard in our system after some time with Longo, but I trust our staff and like the other OL targets in this cycle.

The staff seems to be very high on Destafano. He is a recruit that I think will be Irish before the end of this spring. Very impressive kid.
