And because they oversign, it's no big deal. Guarantee they'll still have 85 players on schollie. What a bunch of dirt bags.

Living in the heart of SEC country, I'm not surprised by anything these polayers do. These schools care about one thing, keeping players eligible. They go out and recruit these kids merely hoping that they wont get in trouble while at the university. If they do get in trouble, who cares they just move on to another kid that could play ball. I'm so glad my family is moving to Cali.

Why would they resort to theft? Did their checks from the school/boosters run out?

One thing...no, make that two. The title by its self told me all I needed to know and made me crack up! AND as fun as you guys might see it to talk crap about another university, it doesn't mean it's what you should be doing. I'm not an Auburn fan but I'm more disappointed than angered. I don't care if Auburn still has 85 scholarship players by the start of the season. It is really quite sad that anybody especially a football player(s) who represents a university would do something like this. So I guess what I'm saying is that maybe we should all hope for this to change rather than scoff at these things. We don't need to be sitting on our high horse here just thinking "We're ND. We don't do this kind of filthy awful things." I mean perhaps we don't and that's a lot of what makes us special nowadays, but honestly, I don't want us to be the only university who wins with fine young men. And it is an awful thing for us to speculate an entire university as bad because a selected group of players make them appear so...

Sorry, I don't even know if all of what I just typed was a coherent thought because I was spacing out a lot during that rant... :)

I wasn't sure where to share the picture of Auburn recruit Jermaine Whitehead's new Camaro.

This seems like as good of a place as any.

Why is it that schools like Notre Dame are considered to play the same "college" football as "schools" like Auburn?

This is really sad. Its crap like this that really tarnishes the image of a school and conference. What were these knuckleheads thinking?

Wait . . . what? How does him taking the pic down tend to show that there is nothing shady about him having the car?

You might have a point about that to be honest. I know several people I went to high school with that got nice cars for their graduation gifts because they earned a full scholarship to college. In fact I have a cousin whose parents bought her a brand new car because she received a full ride academic scholarship and her parents got the car as a reward and to be honest they really got off cheap getting the car versus paying four years tuition etc.
