I love it

I love it

Even if the 6'8" is embellished, it's probably no less than 6'7" and he has the frame to hang a lot of muscle. Great to see Ohio lads flocking to ND again. Better yet, great to see o-lineman going to ND. It's almost unbelievable, but do you all remember the TW years when we were getting virtually no one on the line?! I have faith that it will never happen again.

Excellent week for recruiting.

Rid-My-Man, you shouldn't step out of character ... "Another ****tty week of recruiting" would have been more comforting.

Even "Ho-hum, what's the big deal?" would have had ambiguity enough to maintain your jinx stature while slyly making clear your true intent.

Maybe you should create a new user name to use to express your true feelings. A "wink, wink; nudge, nudge" thing for those in the know.

First of all---Welcome to the Irish Nation. I am glad you are here.

Secondly, how can Everett throw over his head?? How does Drew Brees throw over his mammouth Olineman? If you are good you are good!

Go Irish.

OSU boards rating TD as third best O-lineman in OHIO. That plus O-line coaches at BC and Wisconsin thinking he is prime talent make me think that this athlete is a good one.

Good stuff. Nice start to recruiting, 3 positions of need: Linemen, Playmakers on Offense, and DBs...2/3 have a good start.

Welcome to the family!

Glad to see him commit. I had a feeling he'd end up Irish, just a little later in the process.

This kid lives about 10 minutes north of me. I might just have to go see him play this season.

Golson doesn't need to see over the O-line if he's running the ball or doing an option pitch. If only Armando had an oline this big, he'd have been an All American.

Armando was an average back at best. He had plenty of opportunities to hit the home run and never could.

I just looked at one of his highlight reels... it's pretty amazing that a kid who is listed at 288 lbs. can look skinny (he was 270 at the time, but still). Kelly is after him for his size and athleticism- he hasn't totally developed as a tackle yet. Once he focuses totally on football he'll be able to add some serious weight to his frame and he'll get a lot stronger. Kelly seems to like to do this at tackle- take a big athletic guy and develop him into a monster tackle (wasn't there a story of him doing this with a tight end earlier in his career?). Anyway, the best part about this pickup seems to be the upside and I'm sure the coaches will talk to him about developing during his senior season.

This is great news.

I like hearing this from you Rocket! I've heard he is an extremely underrated player, his technique is a little rough and he has an incredible upside. Since he comes from somewhere right between me and you, (me being at the west end of the lake, you at the east), I thought you might have more of a scoop.

AND, Johnny, your Woo, hoo cracks my daughter up. She is six, and wonders what kind of people I associate with.

I'm quite certain your daughter and I have more common maturity than you and I.

That's what you really meant, right? lol.

Psst! Don't look now, but Kelly is doing it right now under your noses. Seems there was a tight end from Kentucky last year that no one regarded, except Stanford, and BK stole him away in his first class. Wait till you see him this spring! This is seriously one of the largest human beings I have ever seen, and he has a bad attitude and can move! Expect Decker to follow suit.

Johnny you kill me! Common maturity, well, when I am grown up enough to comprehend such an abstract euphemism, I'll get back to you on that!
