I'm surprised he hasn't already received a scholly offer....I wouldn't wait too much longer to offer him.

The kid seems to have pretty decent wheels. He would be a good addition to the secondary class.

Wow, the measureables are there...wonder what the hold up is? But I will trust the staff's judgment if he deserves an offer he'll get it.

If this class turns out to be half as good as it possibly can be...my god...this will be ours...

Going to be tough pulling kids out of Virginia with the new coach at UVa. It used to be if you didn't want to go to tech it was basically open season in the state... but now there is some pretty fierce competition for recruits within the state.

While it may be tough, I like the way our staff recruits. They're all in on recruiting which leads me to believe this class will be better than the last class.

Not sure if we are leading, being a legacy has changed. Anthony Barr, Davaris Daniels just to name a few

Early leader was Stanford. I would assume UVa will make a strong push before all is said and done. Doesn't seem like a Tech kid to me from what I've read on him at least.

I expect now that he has the ND offer things will begin to shake out more. Kids in Virginia tend to not get a lot of exposure (which is how Tech is good every year with a "bad" recruiting class) so I'm really interested to learn more about this kid. Will definitely go check out a game this year if I can his school is right by my office.

But in Davaris' case he didn't even get an offer from UGA, did he? I would certainly think that if it's your father we would definitely have an advantage...

Academics look like they're important in this case...now that our names in the hat and with the family ties I'd be surprised if we didn't land him and quickly.

BC, Stanford and Cal per Scout. Seriously? BC? Over UVa and ND? Has said education is huge to him so Cal and Stanford make sense... as would UVa, which is up and coming, and ND... just seriously don't understand BC unless he is looking to play WR where their WRs SUCK.

That's just freaking weird. I wonder how accurate this "top 3" is.

Boston College is a pretty good academic school. Maybe not as good as Notre Dame, but not far behind either

Never said it wasn't but 4 of those schools are in the top 25 and one isn't. BC is a very good school but it not only has a worse football program than Stanford, Cal, ND and UVa (at least UVa is trending up...) but it is a worse school. My main thought is that he wants to play WR and has an excellent chance to do that at BC because they have some of the worst WRs in the nation.
