1) People will continue to confuse "dominate" (a verb) with "dominant" (an adjective)

2) People will continue to talk about ND giving birth to the BCS, when they really want to discuss ND's BCS berth.

3) The traitor formerly known as NDOM will pick a hot team, midway through the season, and haul *** to their bandwagon.

4) By September, people will already be talking about how we will win the NC in the next season, based on how great the next year's recruiting class is.

5) Neutered will get banned............... three or four times.

6) kmoose (a guy who never finished college) will continue to correct the spelling and/or grammar of a bunch of kids who are smart enough to go to one of the toughest academic Universities in the world.

1) Crist plays like the stud he is (3,000+ yards and 25+ TDs)

1. I agree (if Crist stays healthy all season long) he will pass for 3,000 yards +, and throw 30 TD + as long as Floyd stays healthy too :) .... if Crist goes down AGAIN (here's my back-up plan) are 2nd string will pass for 1,000 + and 15 TD +, Rees almost did this, this year.

2) Riddick/Wood combine for 25 TDs

instead of this i will go with 2. Cierre Woods will rush for 1,000 + and have 10 TD + ..... with Hughes and Allen gone, this very well could happen.

3) Floyd has 100+ receptions, 1250+ yards

3. i agree with this plus 10 TD +, but i will go further by saying we will have two players reach the 1,000 yards mark, and i agree with someone else who said we will have 6 players with 25 receptions or more, i'm guessing Floyd-Riddick-Eifert-Woods-Jones- Atkinson

4) Te'o gets to 150 tackles

4. I agree he will have a monster year !! with atleast 3 sacks and 3 interceptions

5) Gray/Blaton become shutdown corners-we don't give up 250+ through the air once all year

5. instead of this i'm going to go with Sacks, i say we will have atleast two players with 6 sacks or more ..... i say probably Shembo and Johnson. we came close to this year with Fleming 5.5 and Johnson 5.

6) We win a BCS game

this is a given :p so i will go with something else ...... 6. having Crist-Hendrix-Massa-Rees-Golston as are QB's, one of them will transfer or which positions.

One serious prediction:

Kendall Moore, not Carlo Calabrese, stands opposite Manti Te'o at one of the inside linebacker spots.

Riddickulous will be incorrect 100% of the time, unless he's being serious. Then it will be 66.6% of the time.

1. We'll lose a surprise game we shouldn't
2. We'll win more than 8 games
3. Floyd wins the Biletnekoff and is a finalist for Heisman
4. The D is more consistent this coming year, (not as dominant as the last 4 games, but not as soft as the first 8)
5. Andrew Hendrix will start, and will be succesful for the Irish
6. We win a bigger name bowl game. I'm not going as far as BCS yet.

For those who don't know...it is Cierre Wood. There is no "s" on his name. Just a pet peeve when people can't get our own players names right.

1. Surprise starter on the o-line (Nichols or Lombard)
2. Louis Nix takes over the NT spot and has a dominant season.
3. One of the freshmen DE takes over a starting spot midway through the season.
4. Jonas Gray learns how to hold on to the football and becomes a steady backup to Wood in the backfield.
5. Tyler Eifert makes everyone forget about the loss of Rudolph.
6. We win 10 games plus a bowl game.

1) I throw my annual ND season kick-off party and pace more and more as each minute ticks closer to 2011 glory.

2) ND beats USF in dominating fashion causing me (the only ND fan in a large group of friends) to puff out my chest, spew bold statistical predictions and infuriate my SEC & ACC friends.

3) I am forced to DVR at least one game due to ridiculous plans that are out of my control.. then forcing me to shut off my phone and avoid all TV and dude interaction. Later that night I will pace my living room yelling at the DVR box because it doesn't stop the fast-forward when I hit it and I see the damn play before I want to.

4) Every Sunday I will engage in an hour long conversation with my father about the previous game.. where he will have unbelievable insight and passion but will mispronounce EVERY players name or just say the wrong name completely. Goes like this.. "Yea.. Yea.. I KNOW!! no dad you mean Floyd.. not Michael Rudolph.. I dont think it was a late hit dad.. I know dad.. Holtz would never let him get away with that."

5) By mid-season we have just beat Air Force to make it 6-0 and then the dreaded bye week before a home game vs USC comes. Great for the players... horrible for us. I trudge through the bye with tons of highlight watching and BBC 2 and finally its here. We beat USC.. ON OUR TURF 37-20 and reality sets in. This season is for real. Bob Diaco is already being talked about for head coaching positions.

6) I damn near have a panic attack before the Stanford game.. I find myself at a local Buffalo Wild Wings (3 hrs before the game) pestering the manager to put the channel on NOW. The game comes on and because I'm stuck in MS currently, all the prime screens have SEC games on them.. I realize quickly I've made a mistake, yell at my friends for convincing me they'd put the ND game on and storm out while mentally deflecting the "ND sucks" coming from all the Jim Bobs and their fat kids. I get home just in time to see a different Stanford team on the field. A non-Harbaugh Stanford.. A Stanford we can.. and do beat!

I'll stop here. We all know where Im going. It is possible! Hey, if it doesn't happen.. I still have my father to tell me that "Steeeven Tweet" and "Andrew Rees" will lead us to victory in 2012.

He will try to get Notre Dame to play the American University in Cairo, to an offsite game in Mecca, in 2020.

JOHNNYKKKILLZ finds out that Irish666's grand parents were immigrants and starts the paperwork to deport Irish666 back to Italy.

Dude, seriously........... let it go. Holding on to personal grudges is not healthy for you, and won't endear you to too many people on here. You're welcome to stick around and contribute. But if you continue to so openly and proudly display your inability to let it go, it probably won't be the same positive experience that it could otherwise be.
