I didn't watch the game, but wasn't Drew still credited with 2.5 sacks?
Lynch, Tuitt and Timmy Jernigan all stood out. Don't sleep on Jernigan kid is a beast.According to ISD practice reports, Drew was the least impressive out of all the lineman. There was clearly a gap in performance between him and the others. Lynch and Tuitt are on a whole other level.
Have to wait till the moderator approves my link haha. I saw it on the south bend tribune site.
I think that article may be a couple days old.
Since its taking a bit to show the link. Heres the article.
Notre Dame football recruiting: Lynch expands his list
January 10. 2011 9:53PM
Aaron Lynch still plans to visit Notre Dame this weekend and Florida State still appears to be out of the picture.
But Lynch, a heavily recruited defensive end from Cape Coral, Fla., now says he's also considering Florida and Miami.
The 6-foot-6, 245-pound Lynch told the Fort Myers (Fla.) News-Press in a text message on Monday that he's considering the in-state Gators and Hurricanes, and that he is no longer considering the Seminoles.
Both Florida and Miami recently hired new coaches - Will Muschamp at Florida and Al Golden at Miami. Former Irish head coach Charlie Weis recently was named the Gators' offensive coordinator.
Lynch committed to ND in July, decommitted in October, picked Florida State in November and then decommitted from FSU over the weekend.
Lynch, according to Rivals.com, made an official visit to Florida in November. It does not list a date for any Miami visit.
“I just want him to make a decision that makes him happy,” Joe Bowen, Lynch's coach at Island Coast High School, told the News-Press. “It's unfortunate, but I know some people are going to bash him but he's a 17-year-old kid. I'd rather him decommit than go someplace and be miserable.''
Wherever Lynch lands, it'll be soon. He already has graduated high school and plans to enroll at his college for the spring semester. Notre Dame and Miami begin classes on Jan. 18. Florida began classes on Wednesday.
That's very old information. And by very old I mean about 24 hours. Can't blame you for not reading all of the posts, but let me do a summary here of what people consider the most plausible current scenario so people don't keep posting in circles.
Currently Lynch will be visiting South Bend on Friday and if everyone goes well/as expected then he will be in classes when they start up on the 18th. If something goes terribly wrong, Miami and Florida will likely be the schools he considers, with Florida likely being attractive already visited and Miami being attractive because he would have more of an opportunity to play early there.

He should ask Seantrel how the Sun Bowl worked out for him.
Maybe we can get his dad to rap about it for us.
Reps by the way.
filed under "WTF": per NCAA regs Lynch can come up for his official visit Friday (ND pays) but he has to return home to florida at the conclusion of this "OV" then fly back up to ND to start school offically on monday (if of course he pledges irish)
wonder if he can come up unofficially (his dime) and make it a one way ticket? trying to find that out---can anyone help clarify this situation/NCAA rule?

You'll have to go to the NCAA site and read through the recruiting regs. I kidded about his ticket being one way a couple of days ago but if you think about it, it would be an "extra benefit" not offered to other students. The free travel (plane, train, or car) on an official visit is to take the recruit from home to the campus and back home.
WHAT IF:
They get to South Bend, Momma Lynch buys a house in South Bend establishing her home there, and then they pay for a cab ride to the house?
Bam. IrishLax 1 NCAA 0.
Let's not get lax* with the rules lest we get lumped in with the SEC!!!
*Not intended as a swipe at IrishLax, but I did make myself chuckle a bit.
