I think this shakes out in the next 48 hours. FSU still has the inside track, their coaches will probably smooth this over. If so, he'll be there for class on Monday.

If he waits and takes his OV to Notre Dame next Friday, he'll end up with Notre Dame.

I personally think that he should wait and take his OV, even if it's at the expense of early entry at FSU (?). It's obviously an emotional decision for him, a little extra time and a fresh look clears the air for a 4 year decision.

My money is that he's reporting to English Lit 101 on Monday morning. Damn, that hurts to say.

Anyone have Lorenzo Booker's number? It might be a good conversation for Lynch to see how this story COULD end....of course, a few years spent in South Bend and I am sure this story could be rewritten.

I really think it's Trigger. He must be a little senile by now (stuffed). By the way. Irish Illustrated has a story as of last evening (at least) about how Aaron's recruitment, stating that he has absolutely decomitted, and that he will come for his official visit.

Here is all I have to say: When Aaron was comitted before it was all about talking (hype); you know how this and that was going to happen, just because this 18 year old man-child signed with ND.

I am clearly talking about people on our boards. Now, today and forward, it has to be a toned down approach, more about doing than talking.

In my life when you talk about what is going to happen, without doing, or having a chance to do (yet), that is where the opportunity for fear to creep in happens. It adds tremendously to the pressure. Let us give this kid a chance!

The stress he is under is incredible. I for one have faith that he will make the best decision. (Also, notice how our recruiters work harder and take the high ground? Cool, huh?)

As an old professor I never thought I'd be saying this, but "skip class until the 18th young man!!"

Also, here's some geometry to think about to make up for skipping: Tuitt on a 45% angle bull-rushing from the right side; Lynch on a 45% degree angle speed-&-technique-rushing from the left---how long until they intersect at the quarterback?? Or do Te'o, Shembo, Ishaq beat them there??

Nice!

The answer to your question involves physics. Neither. Gary Gray or Harrison Smith bent light, so no one saw them coming! With this talent, (pray hard), ND is going to achieve the ultimate in disguising where the pressure is coming from!

Light-bending usually involves extremely large mass, so it was probably Louis Nix who bent it, and Gray and Harrison slipped around the event horizon. Ah!! It'll be a fine party they all have in the offensive backfield!!

Aaron has turned his fbook back on and his initial post is begging people to leave him alone about college stuff. As Irish fans (die hard or not) show some respect and leave this kid alone. I follow a lot of these guys on facebook to get legit information straight from the source but never do I post on their wall or chat with these young men that I do not know personally. Some show some respect and show him that Irish fans as far more mature then FSU fans and anyone else that wants to butcher his page. Let him be 17-18 and make his decision with his family and true friends, not fans.

I got the impression, on the FSU board, that it was his high school coach that made everything ok.

I'm just interested to see what happens when Aaron gets home and talks to his mom face to face. I think she may be the driving force behind this and that could change a lot of things.

The thing I don't get is if it is the dead period, why did the Irish Illustrated article say Alford had talked to him that morning and they were going to talk again that afternoon? How could FSU fans' nonsense about Notre Dame having lied to Aaron be accurate if our coaches can't talk to him or his family?

The dead period is over guys. It ended at the begining of the week. BK just had dinner with Counsell at his house last night.

Better contacts then mine? Gene told me Aaron was likely to go to class Monday. But he did seem uncertain, so there's hope at least.

But anyway.. I think Aaron is making this more dramatic than what it needs to be.

He's staying at FSU.
