According to ESPN.com, Teddy Bridgewater, an ESPNU 150 quarterback, has decommitted. The "U" is having a tough week

So they los their 4* OG, Teddy, and Louis Jean all this week and Chickillo is wavering badly? Oh I can't wait for 2012.

I hope our boys are excited by the rivalry but keep their heads. Hurricanes will try to make it Catholics vs. Convicts redux. Don't need any pre-game brawls or starefests at the 50.

Make it all business, win by 14. Go home.

side note- ESPN is playing a quote from Pete Carroll about the loss of Urban Meyer from CFB. Of all people.

Whoever they hire has got to come out hard on the recruiting trail. Going to be interesting. The current staff has to be out there now but wow, what a tough sell.

Coaching changes always trigger decommits. It happens. Prospects have ties to the ex-coaches. A new coach may be able to get them back - or not.

I hope for a strong Miami. That state needs three strong programs with other teams taking some prospects away to keep the power divided. Otherwise, Florida State will be in ascendancy with Florida and Miami bringing in new coaches.

Credit Kelly for keeping last year's class together in a similar situation, make numerous new offers and bringing in more commitments last year.

Can I just say how happy I am that this isn't us this year...... last year was exciting to a point on the coaching search but the reality is transition years normally hurt you for 2

Rumors around Knoxville this week are that OG Marcus Jackson (former Miami commit) will commit to Tennessee in the very near future. Possibly this weekend.

Miami will rebound, there is plenty of talent on that team right now and if they get the right coach and actually coach these kids up, a la, BK, they will be rolling again.........don't shed a tear for The U, they will still be a force to be reckoned with provided they get the right coach. And with all the talent in SoFla it only take one recruiting cycle to reload....they will be fine.

Good for them. Weird what Patino is doing with Puerto Rico (in other Louisville news). I like seeing Miami imploding.

Tye's last year hear was an abysmal recruiting year by our standards, and that didn't come home to roost for two seasons, then, kaboom.

look for them to be hurting on the o-line in 3 years...you just can't have a year where you completely fan on the o-line because it takes so long to develop those guys...Miami can make up with JC transfers to fill the holes, but still, O-line is really hard. 2013 will be bad for the U.

Wonder if our boy Haywood is regretting taking Pitt...cold he have been in the hunt at the U?
