I think that bodes well for us. However if he does end up at Northwestern I wish him the best. It's just nice to see a recruit who obviously is concerned about academics.

I obviously have no inside info....but I'd guess that Shuler and Huggins willl ultimatlely end up signing LOI's with the same school(most likely Rutgers or ND). Rutgers is a much more serious player than people are giving them credit for.

Eliminated Stanford because of lack of coaching stability / security. Interesting.

Getting an in-home visit Thursday from ND, and will wait to make a decision until after his OV to ND, even if it is after the Army All American game. Seems like we have made up a lot of ground quickly.

So with Daniels and Atkinson committed, are we still recruiting Shuler to play WR? At 5'10" he's not going to line up in the same position as either one of them. He's obviously a slot receiver. I know there was talk around the board about a move to DB.

I'm really excited to see that we are still strongly in the mix for this kid. His speed is amazing and we could use him at either side of the ball, hopefully at the slot position.

I think they would give me a shot at slot. He would probably return kicks from day one.

He's gonna help wherever you put em...I'd like to see him on defense though with the lack of depth in the secondary, but he will most definitely be an awesome weapon in the return game.

I am shocked to see Stanford not in the mix. He couldn't stop talking about his visit to the west coast for a week. Very suprised but it's a great thing. I too, think that he will end up with Savon at either ND or Rutgers.

Great point on getting the last crack before signing day. If I remember correctly last year our last official weekend inked us several only days after the visit. With Shuler and Niklas this year we could see a little dejavu!!

I was thinking the exact same thing. I think we are on the upswing and we definently have alot of playmakers on our roster and a few coming in. Add in Shuler and possibly Huggins, and you are talking about some really nice possibilities. I really love our chances here...., Anything is possible, but I like where we are standing now.

With Scarlett, I think he and his father are really waiting for an in-home from BK. Denbrock has visited twice but they are really wanting to see BK.

Someone asked Miles about the fact that he's wearing a Rutgers hat in his Facebook picture, wondering if he has committed there.... His response was " Naaa lol, but I'm interested to the fullest !"...

Take it for what it's worth, (which could be nothing) ... but I can't say I have much confidence he or Huggins leaves Jersey.

Ps... Was just trying to get some info on this kid, would NEVER wrote to a recruit.
