This is a big score for us, leaves us deep at the QB position and sets up a very interesting competition for the spring. He's an EE, which will give him lots of time to learn the offense and get ready to compete with Tommy, Hendrix, Massa and Nate in the spring, and then the winner can compete with Dayne for the fall.

As for Dayne coming back, I hope he gets his degree and stays on as a sort of elder statesmen for the team. It's his recruiting class that will be seniors next year, and he deserves to be there with them. Whether or not he starts is dependent on questions for which we don't have the answers, but we do know he's a good kid who deserves an ND degree.

Thats what I asked earlier, but no one answered. I don't see why he can't at least practice with the basketball team the spring semester.

He can practice, but can't actually suit up or anything.

This is a very big commit. You will really see Kelly's offense take off in the next few years with this kid. Add Huggins in the backfield with him and it's going to be very dangerous.

does anyone know what level of competition he has played against?

I know they played against Byrnes, which is usually ranked in the nation. I think that was where A.J. Green came from but don't quote me. End of the day, I think they're in the highest division.

Pretty strong. The state of South Carolina has a lot of talent this year and he's going up against Clowney(number 1 player in the country)for the state championship this weekend.

Honestly, I think this applies to all of our QBs. We can talk all we want, but everybody has a shot and nobody's out at this point. I'm very excited to add Golson to the mix.

No doubt about it at least one of these QBs is going to light the offence on fire and when we match that up with the kinda D we're playing-WATCH OUT!
