I'm not angry. I'm happy ND finally beat Usc. I'm kinda pissed about losing all the vbucks but oh well. I still have a ton. The only reason ND won is because of Ronald Johnson. If he caught that ball which he should have.....GAME OVER and he would still be running.

Anyway, Good win for ND. NDOM dont get mad when ND wins. NDOM gets mad when ND loses. ;)

I'm not angry. I'm happy ND finally beat Usc. I'm kinda pissed about losing all the vbucks but oh well. I still have a ton. The only reason ND won is because of Ronald Johnson. If he caught that ball which he should have.....GAME OVER and he would still be running.

And if wishes were horses, then beggars would fly! For my part, I am tired of everyone trying to take away every little piece. Last night, during the game they talked about how that pass should have been caught. Which was remarkable considering how behind him and short it was. He had to come all the way back accross his body and slow his momentum on a silicone track.

And of course, there is the point that the receiver would have been off to the races if it were a drier track. If it had been a drier track Harrison would have been behind him (on him), and the d-line would have eaten a qback! They almost got him on that play anyways!

My point is, the DEFENSE WON THE GAME. When do you go on the road with four turnovers and win? Last night because the DEFENSE WON THE GAME!

+1 Who cares about what could have happen, all that matters is what did happen. The Irish D can stand tall knowing that they are the reason ND ended this season the way they did.

That's pathetic and spoken like a true SC fan. You want to play the 'if' game...really? OK:

* If we hadn't started a true freshman we would have won by 50.

* If our true freshman wouldn't have turned the ball over 4 times we shut them out.

* If Kyle Rudolph had played he would have been unstoppable and we would have won by more.

* If Ian Williams had played they wouldn't have scored on the 4th down play.

* If Hayseed hadn't slipped Rojo wouldn't have been that open and Hayseed would have picked it (it was thrown behind Rojo).

* If Hayseed doesn't drop the first pass of the game, it would've been a different game.

* If Michael Floyd had played last year we would've won that game too.

* If the mods weren't so nice we would have kept your multiple bannings permanent:bbanana:

Look, we can play the IF game all night. Bottom line, we were the better team, and in the end, the scoreboard reflected that.

Can't just let this go without saying something. Tried to get on here last night, but this site was burning up and burnt out--guess 685 is a few more people than it can handle.

Something sure as hell happened after the Tulsa game. Don't know what, but all of a sudden this team became the "FIGHTING IRISH" again. So nice to see. So nice to be confident, too, that this is just the beginning cause Kelly has got a plan and isn't going to let it die. It's a work in progress, but one would have to be a blind fool not to see the greatness to which we are heading.

YEAH, WE DID IT ALRIGHT!

Wooohooo first time since I was twelve we have dropped many of those passes over my lifetime finally some redemption... Interesting facts/ stats Still true whenever we give up 20 or less we win.... first win vs SC since I was 12... first ND coach since Davie to beat SC.... first ND coach since Holtz to beat SC in his first year amazing win guys

And if they would have called a penalty on the Bush push we would have won that year. But, we didn't.

We did, on the other hand, win this year.

A million congrats to our “Fighting Irish” for they truly lived up to that name and played the way I expected them to play under Kelly. The D was outstanding and played with more heart than any other Irish D than I can remember. It is about time we kicked U$C’s a$$ and I am happy that we are contributing to the burning of troy. Like my name implies, condoms suck :)
