It's beautiful to see.
Serves them right. Hope they enjoy what their terrible program has brought them. I hope they lose to UCLA too.
Can anyone hook me up with there board? I would love to observe the meltdown
And there is another post stating that USC ran into the locker room without shaking hands and the announced in the stadium had to apologize for the lack of class. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Some stayed on the field. I would say most did actually. It was quick, no discussions and both teams sprinted to the locker room. A few ND seniors were the last on the field. A couple were on a knee and looked like they were relishing the moment. It was a great scene! The ND faithful were great. When it started raining the so cal people scattered quicker than I imagined possible.
How bout this one!! This Trojan fan is actually a realist!!
"You could almost feel it after the final play of the Notre Dame-Army game in Yankee Stadium. 2-0 in November? THIS (meaning ND) team? With all of its many distractions and undeveloped 5-star recruits? With a first year coach whose had embarrassing losses to Tulsa and Navy?
I was at Yankee Stadium for that game with my dad who's a Domer Alum. He looked at me and said, "We're going to finally beat you this year."
The thing is, I knew he was right. Something is going on at Notre Dame right now. I guess it affirms my faith in cycles - but you could tell they were going to get on the plane and come into Los Angeles unafraid, believing they were going to win - NOT playing to lose. They weren't going to necessarily look good doing it, or hold onto a lead for 3 quarters, but they believed they were going to win and they did.
A 3-0 November for any program is sensational, but Notre Dame? Post-Tulsa, Post- Navy Notre Dame?
I think the difference in the cultures is that our program still feels like we're entitled to win simply because we are USC - which is different that believing we're goingto win. I saw a ND team out there that fought hard - made lots of mistakes and came back from them. I saw a coach out there who actually looked like he had a pulse - even when it was 16-13. I'm not saying our guys didn't try - God knows they did. But pushing them to try harder than they think is possible falls on the leadership... and all roads lead to the multi-million dollar man we call 'Coach'."

Also, I didn't realize until today just how fair-weather and bandwagon USC fans are. It's really pathetic... they are just like the "U." If UCLA could get their **** together we could put down the Trojans for another decade, but they're still going to get lots of 5* talent just because of their location.
