If we play like we did against Utah, then ND will have a great day. Too much is at stake and this is a huge game for us. I hope we can build some momentum this Saturday and feed off of our nice win. We really need to be ready this weekend though, we need to bring our best game and not take Army for granted.

hopefully diaco has gotten a good blueprint on the triple option from the navy game.

I think if the D can replicate todays performance we will have a good night in new york. i don't expect this one to be easy though.

Also the option is notorious for injuring the opposing defense, we do not need that at all.

ND can give recruits tickets to the game, but cannot interact with them.

Huggins & Shuler will be there.

Also should be a good turnout for 2012 Class

That and bowl eligibility make this an enormous game for the team. We really need to build on what happened last week at Utah. Our defense was great, and they need to play with that same mean streak against Army. We will have a huge size advantage and need to wear them out physically the same way we did Utah.

They are 8th in the country in rushing yards per game (though significantly lower in yards per carry), but dead last in passing yards per game at only 88.1 per game. If we push them around on defense this game will get ugly very quickly.

Like the Navy game, huh? These "option" teams always cause the Irish some grief!

I think Diaco makes the proper adjustments. Guys will be playing with some momentum as well after a very emotional win against Utah. Irish wins.

Has anyone looked at the field/seating layout? There are no "good" seats in the entire stadium. The only close seats are in the endzones and all seats around the 50 are way off the sideline.

It is real grass. I would like to see alot of the 4 man d front. Granted Army isn't as good as navy but they are still a good team. We need toi be prepared to to hit every running back on the field.

Ishaq an his father will be there

Also, lets not compare Navy and Army. Army lacks a key ingredient in a successful and effective option.... Mr. Dobbs

I believe Ishaq will also be at this game...this is turning out to be a huge recruiting game for us.

Exactly. I heard for awhile now that IShaq will be there as well. This has the potential to be a HUGE recruiting weekend. We really need to show these recruits a good game and take care of business. I'm pretty excited about Saturday night. Should be fun.

Cannot wait for this game. I love night games, and this one is special for so many different reasons. We have lots of highly touted recruits that will be in attendance, first game at the new Yankee Stadium, we really need a win here, and this could help define ourselves as a team. We would really have some nice momentum if we get a sound victory over Army before heading to LA next weekend. GO IRISH!

Ishaq may not be at the game. He has a playoff game earlier in the day and said he may not make it.

Ahhh man!! That sucks! I was really hoping he would be there and get a first hand feel for the coaches and some of the players; not to mention the game day atmosphere even though it's not in South Bend.

I was at trivia night at a bar. I was in no state of mind to post. I will thank you now. Thank you IrishLax

Haha thanks for supporting my fragile self esteem TT.

In other news... I need NYC road trip music for this Saturday. Suggestions anyone?
