Because it would make ND look weak and pathetic

It isn't the jerseys. Forget the green jersey gimmick and focus on playing good football for a change.
both the white and blue jerseys have zero karma, why not try green?

Yea the jerseys have nothing to do with this. One good thing is the players get some rest and extra time to prepare for utah.

Hopefully Utah wins tomorrow's game vs TCU. Then we'll have a chance to finally beat a top 5 team.

Since no one knows when the pep rally is... where is the Irish green located?

This is a great chance for Toma to shine, I really like this kid and how hard he plays. With so many injuries in so many different positions, it is a good opportunity for other guys to get some good quality play time.

I would like to see Floyd and TJ out wide with both Ridick and Toma playing in the slots! Get healthy Theo.

I would love to see Toma out there in stead of Goodman. Toma looks very good and makes a play when he needs to.

This is one of the 3 I think they lose.
Quoting myself to show how little I know. 3 loses would be ok with anyone now. They dont have much of a chance in this game. Utah is a fine team who just laid an egg last week. TCU put up the score but they are not 45 points better than Utah. Irish will be manhandled. Still- we hope?

Nope. I expect a blow out loss. But it's my last home game so I'm gonna enjoy being with my friends in the stadium for the very last time. sigh

I don't think it will be a blow out. I think with the extra week to get ready for utah and the players getting some much needed rest the this will come out to play today.

I just listened to the Game Day report on the ND vs. Utah game.
What the F did Desmond Howard just say. I heard it but did not understand what he said. He's not a ND fan.
Bad news = Lee Corso picked ND to win.

Does NBC sports steam live game video? I will be away from my tv for the game today but will have my laptop so I was hoping to watch it on here.

All I want for my birthday tomorrow is an Irish win today. I hope we can pull this one out.

ND should be able to jump out to a quick lead - 2 weeks to prepare some special plays and schemes + Utah may come out flat after a complete BCS destroying beat down + western school tavel and hopefully "big eyes" being in ND stadium.
The question is can the Irish Defense hold on and win as Utah gets into their normal game?
Utah is physical and strong, but with a good effort, our boys can hold them.

If Utah gets a quick score, it could be tough to overcome and a long day.

Two scenarios:

A) Utah, demoralized following a crushing defeat to TCU, comes out flat. Notre Dame pounces and pulls the upset.

B) Utah, trying to warrant style points for BCS voters, comes out inspired and mauls Notre Dame on Senior Day.

I'm pulling for Scenario A, but Scenario B is far more likely.
