It will be either December 11th or December 18th accordin to his high-school football coach. His highschool team is undefeated and looking to make a strong push into the playoffs. He wont be on campus for a game but he will attend the Army game in Yankee Stadium. His campus visit depends soely on how far his highschool team goes in the playoffs. Because he wants to enroll early, he is looking to commit in December. Our visit comes at the perfect time as long as he doesnt commit along the way. We are in good shape for this great young talent.

So if we add Ishaq and Savon is our class completely full? I think both are coin flips at worst right now.

No. We were talking about having 3-4 more spots before Jordan and Clay de-committed. We should have around 4-5 more spots remaining. IMO we look good for

Savon Huggins
Christian French
Ishaq Williams
Troy Niklas

That would be an amazing way to finish out this class.

Niklas

Top 3: Stanford, Notre Dame, USC

He's always been quiet about it. I think he's letting his senior season run its course before committing

Not till December when his high-school football season is over. However, he will be at the Army game. Second time he has made an Irish connection on his own dime.

The guy is clealry very interested. He visit ND and Alabama a few months ago in his own dime and now will be attending the Army game. He also plans to visit in the middle of December depending on hishighschool schedule. He plans to commit shortly after his ND visit and enroll early.

ESPN reports that Syracuse and Bama are still in the mix. He was just in Happy Valley this weekend for the Michigan game.

If my "theology" allowed it, I'd be heavily praying for a resurgence of what has been [up to the Prestwood/Lynch decommits] the real reason that I've been able to weather this abominable [but rather expected] adjustment period: RECRUITING SUCCESS!! If we can just HOLD and reload in this area, I'll be happy, happy, happy with the staff's first year in the toils. Ishaq Williams would be a star in that story.

Its clearly all speculation at this point and my opinion is no more important than anyone elses' but I really think Ishaq is Irish come December. Everything points to that conclusion. He realizes the early playing time and the significant difference in academics with Notre Dame compared to Bama. He has already visited Sout Bend on his own dime, and I understand that he visited Bama as well but he has set up a follow up with ND. Granted it is very close to his home and a chance to see the new Yankee Stadium but its significant in some ways. With him planning on committing in December and visiting ND in December, we should be fresh on his mind. Clearly just my opinion.

I like, and share your opinion IM3....I wanted Ishaq before, but after learning more about him, and our recent decommits, I would love to have this young man.

USC is the wild card right now...they have stepped up their recruitment of Ishaq in the past couple of weeks.

Work Horse his attitude can be contagious.

I like not only his work horse ethic and attitude, but also his ability to overcome adversity in life. This kid has a great head on his shoulders and I think he will bring a special kind of spirit to the locker room and on the field determination that any program craves.

with all of these defensive recruits i think we are gonna be in for a great future, especially if kellys O can pick it up.

A stifling defense with an explosive offense = wins.
