What you want to see the Irish this week.

Other than the Irish win, and the ole 55-0 comments, this is what I would like to see out of the Irish vs Stanford.

1. The Irish play with a chip on their shoulder
2 Less Mental Mistakes IE. Penalties and Turnovers
3. 3rd down efficiency on both sides of the ball
4. Big Play on Special Teams
5. Killer instinct- Be able to go in and score 7 to extend a game lead to 17 or 21 pts instead of finding a way to let Stanford back in
6. Healthy Jamoris Slaughter
7. Running game- AA, Wood, Gray, Hughes whomever....
8. Defensive contain
9. Not giving up the big play
10. IRISH WIN 55-0( a man can dream can't he?)

I am tired of losing period, and when you throw in the way we are losing, it is a swift kick in the pills. Notre Dame football will be the death of NDOM. I WILL have a massive heart attack watching a game. May not be saturday or the next saturday or even 5 years from now, but SOMEDAY it will happen.

Then when the doctors do an autopsy they are gonna say: "d a m n this guys smoked alot of weed and drank alot of guinness."

ND football is the reason WHY I smoke and drink. LOL

2) Pass to set up the run... not just pass to pass some more.
3) No fumbles.
4) Lots of pressure on the QB.

A big special teams play: long return on a kick or punt/continued success in the kicking game/blocked punt or field goal.

1.I would LOVE to see some really aggressive play-calling.I want Kelly to show we won't back down, and have a little trickery up his sleeves.
I personally feel we have to play absolutely intense to win this game.A much faster no-huddle offense then we've shown so far, and a pounding defense.
2.I want to see us play a COMPLETE game.
One thing we NEVER got from Weis was a complete game from top to finish against decent-good teams...and so far this year we've gotten pretty close,but have still really not had more than 3 good quarters against anyone.

I feel if we couple these together we could stand a great chance against Stanford.
I think it will be close either way, but I think we pull it out late.

F*** all the BULL****, I want to see a F***in Irish team that just plays balls to the wall!! I am sick and tired of all this we "could" be 3-0 CRAP!!! We would be 3-0 if our teamwould just fix the stupid/retarded mental erros that they CONSISTANLY MAKE!!! That is ALL I want to see. I want to see a game that isn't riddled with mistake after mistake that turns a clear cut victory into a hard fought LOSS!!! I get that BK is the right man for the job and all that jazz, but all of this improvement that everybody is talking about (btw, I don't really notice a whole lot of it) is worthless without all the damn mistakes, WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT, YEAR AFTER YEAR!!!!

establish a running game and stick to it. which would lead to hitting floyd deep for a td.

I want and expect us to come out from the gate fighting till the end through 4 quarters. I want to see us take good care of the ball, (no turnovers!) We need to control the line of scrimmage, get the running game going early and often and the defense needs to step it up a notch and get pressure on the quarterback because he is a darned good one. I expect this game to be a close one and hopefully the outcome will be in our favor when it's all said and done. Maybe I'm being to optimistic here, but hey, we Are ND and I always think we have a shot at winning. Seeing alot of negativity on the sites lately, but I continue to believe, and I believe we pull off a nice close victory this weekend.

I dont think they can beat Stanford. I just want the extension of what they are doing-meaning keep hitting on 'D' and building the 'D' execution the way Kelly wants it. They're gonna score points. It would be nice to beat Harbaugh as he is such an @#$ but Stanford will more than likely grind 'em down. Man I've been proud of the way they've played so far. Hats off to the 'game' Irish as they are a little out gunned on 'D'. A buddy from Pitt just called me tonight and the subject of our teams came up-he said and I quote 'dont worry this guy knows what he's doing they are going to win games'.
