we'd be up by at least 6 right now if that defensive holding would have been called on the backwards pass.

but, whatever. you can't blame everything on the refs. Outside of our secondary, I'd say we're looking pretty good.

Love what I'm seeing from the defensive line. Ethan Johnson, KLM, Kerry Neal and John Ryan made plays and put constant pressure on Locker. Te'o had a great half...although he did miss some tackles on their TD drive at the beginning...but he made a lot of plays and his speed really showed. Brian Smith was all over the field as usual. Safeties were awful and corners weren't much better. They could have had more big plays, but had some costly drops. As far as the offense goes, everyone is playing well in my opinion. Clausen has made some great throws, but has missed some wide open recievers (Tate on the 3rd drive was the worst) and his play really declined when the rain started and he couldn't plant. Tate is the man and I don't know where we would be without him.

I hate to say it but that was then and this is now, you see egos stroked all the time. I loved the way Lou coached as you see by the picture, but kids today all learn from who? The NFL.
If they learn from there and do it in HS why give the guy grief for having fun?

Blame the teacher. After the last two years there is no reason to be acting cocky.
