How do we even know that's his Facebook profile?

B/c you cannot set up a fake profile to a school account. It is him, most of his pictures are prom and high school things. I really hope he has a better time adjusting to ND and does not regret his decision. I think once spring practice starts he will have less free time and feel like a part of the family.

Best of luck to Trevor. An 18 year old kid moving far from home, detached from the places and people he knows best...it has to be tough on anyone. Hang in their man, The rest of the family is on its way

this brings to mind charlie saying he will take a kid who has his heart set on enrolling early, but as a dad, he would advise against it. i couldnt imagine skipping my final semester of highschool, not a good time to be away from all your friends. i do think things will probably get better once the rest of the class arrives, i remember newman saying how well t-rob fit in with the rest of the guys in the class.

i'm tellin ya, once the guys get there he'll settle right in. also, signing day will be huge seeing who is actually coming in and if new kids will be added to the mix.

Someone tell Charlie to get this guy's girlfriend or whoever up to South Bend. I know he and Cwynar are the only guys there but facebook just told me his current status is "fuck college" and before that it was "i just want to go home."

Every kid is different but it sounds like this kid wasn't too crazy about enrolling early. Let's hope things get better when the rest of those All Americans get to South Bend in June

I feel bad putting down an 18 year old but he needs to grow up. I know how he feels exactly, I wont get into details but I was in pretty much the same scenario and it is very difficult. I just dont get it though, hes at notre dame, hes playing football, and he unlike all freshmen who are just thrown into the mix, he has a huge set of friends automatically through the team, coaches, and tons of kids who im sure would just like to talk to him. It takes time but that really is sad if hes that upset and I hope things turn around for him.

Yeah, would you enroll early to a D1 school, let alone ND, if you're a blue-chip prospect? I would, skip my whole senior year to enroll at ND early. But thats just me, screw High School!

That could be a real issue for him though, having trouble distinguishing a genuine person from someone who just wants to be close to him because of his future.

Thats a good point, I guess that could be pretty overwhelming. Although, I can unfortunately say I've dated a girl just because she's going to Penn State on a diving schollie next year.....she was pretty hot too so name recognition wasn't the only reason. She lacked brains though.........but she was hot :devil_2:

Hopefully he finds enjoyment in his life when spring practice starts on Wed. I know I'll enjoy hearing about it.

Per Trevor's Twitter @trobinson78:
Been on the outside looking in through this whole process from post season games to the combine and now the draft. All serves as motivation

That being said I'm excited and honored to be a part of the Cincinnati bengals organization and look forward to the opportunity that's there

Robinson played well enough over the past few weeks that fans are starting to clamor (rightly or wrongly) for him again now that our starter is back. Our O-line seems to have taken a step back with his return. Good for Robinson, hope he finds a spot with the Bengals long-term. Either way, seems like he'll be sticking around in the NFL long-term :) Who Dey!

He replaced Jeff Faine earlier? My favorite NFL hangman player to stump my buddies with.

Yeah, our center Kyle Cook (MSU grad, started last couple of years at least) went out very early in the season, replaced by Jeff Faine, who also went down with an injury, thus turning to Robinson. Robinson held his own in Cook (and Faine's) absence :)

I was very impressed by Robinson. He got bull-rushed too easily in his first couple games, but once he settled in he actually took command of the o-line and was at the center of an above-average run game during the Bengals late playoff push.
