I think a lot of young folks who have never been told "no" look at grandma and grandpa sitting in their $400k house they bought for $5 fifty years ago. They get SS checks (maybe even a PENSION!) and infinite health care and spent every dime they earned along the way. Lots of envy wondering why they can't have it too. Maybe they can if they force it politically - just like grandma and grandpa really.

Such lovely character traits from the Godless folks hopped up on anti-depressants. We can't judge though.

I don't blame the boomers for this part. They played the cards they were dealt. The bigger problem now is that the boomers are living longer than any other generation in history, aren't dying and aren't giving up their homes.

That means there's thousands of millennials (even the ones who paid off college debt and make good money) can't get their hands on a single family home because every unit that hits the market gets 10-15 offers. Add to that the millions imported since 2020 and you've got a high level of frustration.
