Chicago Woodwind man Walt Parazaider has died.

Walter Parazaider (March 14, 1945 - June 17, 2026) was an American retired woodwind musician who is a founding member of the rock band Chicago. He is best known for being one-third of Chicago's brass/woodwind section alongside Lee Loughnane and James Pankow. Parazaider is a multi-instrumentalist. He plays a wide variety of wind instruments, including saxophone, flute, and clarinet. He also occasionally plays guitar.

Looks like he was battling Alzheimer's.

I was in HS when Chicago (Transit Authority) released their first album. It was like WOW where did this sound come from. RIP Walter.

Hate to hear that. Chicago was my favorite band when I was in HS. Parazaider stopped touring years ago due to Alzheimer's, I think. Hell of a talented musician.

No lie, Ken loves him some Chicago, and Bon Jovi. I had no idea he was retiring, or I guess retired because he was stepping down at the end of the '25/'26 academic year. 3 decades at ND. Wow.

The actress' boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, tells TMZ ... Daveigh died Tuesday from meningitis and an infection in her blood, which caused her to have septic issues and led to her body shutting down.

Way too young. RIP Daveigh.

I knew sepsis was a bad deal, but never thought much about it til Kyle Busch. As a guy that used to watch NA$CAR, its still hard to believe he passed away.

This is one of our family's favorite movies, the kids literally just watched Lilo and Stitch yesterday and I have no idea if my wife knew about this passing or not.
She wants to take the Ohana quote and put it on a sign for the house, except she's changed it a bit. She says:
"Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind...or murdered." :LOL:
RIP Ms. Chase.

I hated horror movies. Until someone mentioned a theory and I paid $4 to see it in a 2nd run theater. From then on I love horror.

Well, at 100, he's been out of the limelight for a few years. He was certainly a power player during the Reagan years and through Bush II. I didn't realize he'd remained the Federal Reserve chairman until the GWB admin. I thought he'd retired during Bush I or Clinton.

I have never heard of Greenspan until Clinton was Potus. Although I was in HS, was the Fed Chair covered on tv before the rise of cable news?

I wasn't really aware of the Fed Chair either until the 2nd Reagan term when Greenspan sort of became a household name and was in the news on a very regular basis.
