I root against him pretty hard like most I imagine though I don’t think those quotes are much,… media grasping trying to make it a thing. I hope Kyler gets the job and ends his career tho lol

I'm gonna be honest I didn't watch the video at all lol. I just saw his thread get bumped and saw an opportunity to enjoy that he's been ass in the league

Agree for sure, but at least Allar went in the 3rd. Still too high but I get someone wanting to take him as a lottery ticket based on his physical tools. JJ at #10 overall is insane.
Why doesn’t the NFL get that there are quarterbacks and game managers (who aren’t asked to do much). They might get a lot t of easy throws because the running game is prolific. McCarthy and Allar are game managers. They also don’t see the whole field.

When seeing so many mid college QBs get drafted in the first round, I wonder how much of it is GMs/front offices worried about missing the next Tom Brady? As someone mentioned earlier, it’s like a lottery ticket which is fine in later rounds but I’m not even a huge NFL fan & can predict most of the 1R QBs will bust & become journeymen clipboard holders before retiring & starting their own podcast.

Just because a guy plays for Michigan doesn't make him the next Tom Brady.
McCarthy was nothing special in college. A game manager on a team that was carried by its defense and running game (and cheating ofc). Nuts that he was drafted 10th as there was nothing to suggest he'd be a good QB in the NFL. But yeah, NFL GMs go crazy to draft quarterbacks. I guess they figure if they hit on one, they have the most important piece of their roster, and if they don't, OK, you try again next year.
