If ND has a cash limit, which is questionable, who is the most important recruit to pay extra for?

-Simien as 5th OL after LvB pops?

-Henderson as 3rd LB after Igwebuike commits?

-a 6th DL of Fakatou or Parks after O’Neil, Folorunsho, Vaughn, Sesay, and Muhammad are officially in?

I would agree. 6 DL would be impressive. Idk about that being a problem, it’s actually the most likely to happen. But if they had to dig deep, I would say don’t lose Henderson because of an extra 0. Get it done. Guy is a 2 time all American prospect

I'm not hearing positive noises about Parks. Oregon is looking like the leader ATM (and I mean that acronym both as "at the moment" and "automated teller machine"), but a top flight DL makes everything easier. I want a "prime Clemson" DL where they can send waves of monsters with fresh legs after the QB.

If you have to choose where the money goes, DL should take priority.

A couple of the insiders are saying they are not as confident in Parks anymore. Although, none of them are giving reasons why; some are just saying that he has been quiet recently. But it almost seems like he has just been quiet in general, not to any specific team.

They also didn't believe ND was going to get Olu Olubobula until it was more or less a done deal. You don't pass on a talent like Simien when he's a ND fit, special, special talent.

Exactly. ND is already in the top 2-3. Texas A&M is spending money like crazy, but has already invested an absurd amount into their OL after landing Mark Matthews to go with Kennedy Brown, Kaedon Scott and DeMarrion Johnson, 4 top 100 OL (2 of whom are 5 stars). At some point their OL funds have to run short.

Simien is one of the rare guys that you steal money from another position to land. Jackson Hill reportedly came cheap. Layton Von Brandt was reportedly offered good money. Juice that offer up and send it Simien's way and give yourself every chance.

Not even in the same realm. Von Brandt has an elite frame, but is nowhere close as high end of a prospect as Simien. Albert is one of those 6'4 guys that is plenty long and athletic enough to easily play tackle, but probably winds up being a stud career guard in the NFL.
