Exactly what we wanted to hear from our top interior prospect. Partridge and Co had some serious dline talent on campus.

I can't wait to see how he closes.
All the DTs belong to us now....I heard from a reliable source

Singer is starting to think he doesn’t end up at ND

My guess is that this is all part of the "homestretch" dance.

Not saying he is definitely going to end up at ND, but as the board clears up and things move towards a final conclusion it is only natural to play hard to get in order to land that little bit of extra love.

No. If I had to guess he’s had ample time to commit and they’re doing very well with Muhammad. On3 makes it seem like he’s leaning ND
I don't think Parks and Muhammad are even close to the same type of player. Muhammad is a SDE/3T and Parks is a NT.

They predicted this on Monday. Guys are going to lose their spots if they don't commit within the next few weeks. He seems to be in that category.

shame because he seemed like he could turn into a true difference maker at nose tackle, interested if Partridge viewed him the same way or not. Curious to where Partridge views Muhammad ending up, hes still very lean even at 265, could see him stacking weight.

He'd need to get up above 300 to be an effective NT. I guess that could happen, but I just don't see it.

Honestly, I am not opposed to not recruiting a true NT every year. You may want a NT body every other class. Work to get transfers or let recruited 3ts grow into a Nose.

NT is the most difficult position for ND to recruit by far. Passing on a top NT who would have picked ND is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

My dumbest thing was this “let's continue to pretend we are offering enough money to sign the top players.”
You know what's interesting - the day after I posted that, ND lost on Jaxon Dollar to Georgia, who offered more money, after ND led in his whole recruitment. Please continue your know-it-all schtick, though, it is great.

1) you’ve been noticeably absent from a few threads. Just an observation.

2) You still don’t get it.

I'm baffled by this (potential) development. I've just always pictured this class with Parks in it.

It’s a little much to say that he would have picked ND. He’s visited a ton of times, there’s still no commitment, or commitment date and every visit recap is about the same.

I'm still reeling a bit from the Jaxon Dollar L we took. But at the same time, we have bigger fish to fry. We have a golden opportunity with the OL/DL in this class and that needs to be the focus of the NIL spending.

If you can admit underclassmen transfers from anywhere, it significantly changes the NT conversation we’ve had for years. They just have to want to walk to class (@ Gilliam)

I would still want Parks in the class considering his ties. I doubt ND is burning a bridge here. I mean look at the 2028 class. I would guess he could commit tomorrow. But he has to choose to at some point.

I'd disagree, especially when nickel is their base. You need that guy that can anchor the point and take on double teams in a 6 man front. It's also the one position that's difficult to get in the portal since most of the good ones go pro and the few they transfer can name their price....

Unless they're looking at both lines in totality and think Flanigan goes back to nose? This means the staff is factoring the Olu shift and like where they're at with von Brandt and Simien.
