Honestly sort of excited for baseball this year. Murakami? First overall pick? Ishbia looming?

Traded LuBob to the Mets. Got back Ronald Acuna’s brother and a guy with a last name for a first name.


Biggest thing for Jerry is that he kicked in no cash, so the return was lower than it could’ve been. Typical.

Acuna is intriguing. He’s got tools and some pop, but he’s tiny. Came up an IF, but he’s been playing CF in winter league. Also hit four homers in a winter league game. With Robert’s injury history, we’ll see how this plays out. I guess at least there was some return for him as opposed to letting him walk in FA.

Acuna is probably an AAAA player. The other guy is a college pitcher from Harvard that got drafted in the 12th round.

This will play out similar to the last CF that went from the Sox to Mets - Lance Johnson. "One Dog" had career highs in average, hits, triples.

Robert will probably bang out 40 homers and play a gold glove level center field.

I mean really the rotation was pretty solid the last three series. The bullpen is garbage outside of our “opener” and closer.

I think we’ll see Braden Montgomery by July.

What were expectations a few weeks ago? Just curious.

Any reputable outlet picked them last in the division, which I think is kind of a no brainer.

It's a very weird trade, giving up Sosa in April for very little in return. A teenager that has never played a game and was drafted in the 17th round who is 5-10, 175 lbs.
